I like quite a bit of their songs but I've never considered myself a "fan," but this was awesome. I think he's pretty justified tbh. They should get more time than shit-tier Usher or any faggot ass R&B/hip hop singer for that matter. I also love how he mentioned Bieber :lol

Looks like a prepared rant to me. I give the acting a 3/10. Which is a better rating than I'd give the concert lineup.

ROFL the funny thing is that Billy Joe really thinks he's performing a more elevated form of music than Justin Bieber. And that he thinks smashing a guitar is still edgy and rebellious.

Doesn't seem like acting if you consider that apparently he was on drugs. Idunno

Brain Stew is the only Green Day song I like.
And the random Bieber bashing is lame.

He was pissed because Mitt Romney is an American idiot.
Too well spaced, to well rehearsed, no security, lights stayed on, blah blah blah and you fell for it.
"I'm not Justin Beiber"
Hell no, he'd have 5 minutes.

If you don't want a short set, don't play festivals.
Been that way since before 1988.
I agree it's probably staged.

Green Day never had punk cred to begin with. This is par for the course anyways with this band. They have always been a mainstream band, hence playing on the same bill as Rihanna and other POP artists.

What? Bro, they were playing at a Clearchannel event! That's easily the most anti-establishment of all the massive media megacorporations that are shaping all music into one massive, impossible to differentiate blob. And I saw an extended clip somewhere else that showed them being introduced by none other than Demi "Practically a Fuckin' Ramone" Lovato and Mario Lopez.
