I like quite a bit of their songs but I've never considered myself a "fan," but this was awesome. I think he's pretty justified tbh. They should get more time than shit-tier Usher or any faggot ass R&B/hip hop singer for that matter. I also love how he mentioned Bieber :lol

Green Day never had punk cred to begin with. This is par for the course anyways with this band. They have always been a mainstream band, hence playing on the same bill as Rihanna and other POP artists.

That's easily the most anti-establishment of all the massive media megacorporations that are shaping all music into one massive, impossible to differentiate blob. And I saw an extended clip somewhere else that showed them being introduced by none other than Demi "Practically a Fuckin' Ramone" Lovato and Mario Lopez.
