Trill - what do you think about Ben Tate lying just to win? What does that say about the integrity of that man?

We all know he pushed off - don't think he was trying to cheat, but you know he just lied.

I do feel bad for the refs because they're gonna get death threats and eventually have to go into hiding.

I don't feel bad for them at all. I hope they get the worst kind of threats possible. They deserve it. If you fuck something like that up, I have zero sympathy for you.

that was pretty funny but what do you expect from a guy who blindsides a defenseless player and celebrates? he's a scumbag but tonight i'm giving him a pass:hat

Tate had a chance to be the ultimate hero and completely blew it because he's a tool. He's a hero to his team because of the results. But he could have been a hero by his peers to admit: "Hey, I wasn't trying to cheat. In the heat of a game you try and get away with things sometimes and I got away with a push off. Then, I just went up and competed for a catch and honestly I got my hands on it and just hoped for the best. I know it looks close and in the moment it's tough and I thought it was going to be called an INT".

aren't the replay officials not part of the lockout?

The replay officials aren't replacements, but that's not really the issue here. The issue here is the call on the field should have been either an interception or offensive pass interference on Tate and neither was called. I think they said on MNF this kind of thing couldn't be overturned on replay anyway and they had to go with the call on the field which was (mistakenly) touchdown.

I was too tired to do much else but go to bed after that last night, and I wake feeling like it's Christmas morning. Twitter's been funny as hell. Best one I saw was something like, 'Every replacement ref needs to go into Goodell's office, lay their striped shirt on his desk, and say they want Hochuli to dress in their place."

And then there was this:
