I have always liked otterbox defender cases for my phones. I won't talk you out of it.

How would anyone know what the best case is? There are probably like 20 and I doubt anyone here has compared them all. Just do Amazon search and read user reviews.

My brother works for City of Austin doing water quality testing and loves his lifeproof case, they make one for the 5 now. Kept his phone nice and dry in Galveston earlier this summer if you were looking at something other than an otterbox for waterproofing.

ehhh it's not worth it, without an upgrade available those things are too damn expensive to chance it. i'm usually pretty careful and went 2 years with my iphone 3g back in the day and finally one day forgot it was in my lap, got out of the car (low to the ground sportscar) and it dropped about 2 feet, right on its face, and cracked. there have been a couple instances with my current phone (iphone 4) where i was glad i went ahead and paid the money. shit happens, and you don't want to be out 500 bucks.

I ordered a Philadelphia Eagles case for my iPhone on Amazon and didn't check the seller's info. It's shipping from China! :rollin:rollin

It will take a month. :(

Yeah I usually order a case before I order a phone so I have it when the phone arrives. Shit happens and it's better to be prepared.

Don't trust it to be completely waterproof, though. My daughter killed her 4S believing that it was waterproof and she installed it exactly like the instructions said. If it leaks they will give you a new case but they won't give you a new phone.

They have a rugged outdoors otter box that's like 35 dollar you can drop your phone from about 8 feet and it still protects it. Very thick case

This one is great if you do alot of fishing

for a cheap economical case, tape some styrofoam on each edge, works like a charm.

Be sure to get the one with the circular cutout on the back so the Apple logo can be seen. We want to be sure everyone knows you're a Apple user. :lmao

:lmao @ all the haters in here. Hell, I'm still using a 3 that is out of memory and the touch screen is worn out. It was just time for an upgrade, and yeah I really was asking if there was a better case out there than the defender...I'm tough on phones.

you did get a few good posts in here. glad you got a phone you like (coming from an apple hater).

unless you want that one that is water resistant, get the otterbox defender, they are awesome. If you want another to look at that consistently ranks right next to the defender, look at the Trident Kraken (the one for the iphone 5 has a kickstand too.)

Not anymore, but unless you're telling us all you bought one recently, them i'm guessing you bought one back when it WAS a high priced, top of the line phone. Bragging about an iPhone 3G to prove you're not some full-of-himself richer is pretty retarded anyways, more so when you probably bought it back when an iPhone 3G was the best phone on the market.

It's a 3G but I didn't buy it. It belonged to my sister that died of cancer. I took care of her the last couple of months she was in decline. My old flip phone died about a week after she did and she didn't need the iphone anymore.

BTW, why are you being such a dick? Peni$ envy?
