Ow yeah, he might probably come in 5 because of his injury.

I predict the ranking to be 5 Rose, 4 Paul, 3 Howard, 2 Durant, 1 James.

it's hardly a shitty roster imho, an upgrade over last season at the very least, and they're getting younger w/o making too many drastic changes at one time which would otherwise hurt the team's chemistry

My guess:

5: Rose
4: Paul
3: Howard
2: Durant
1: LeBron

LeBron being the no brainer #1 for like, at least 2 years now. Maybe 3-4.

Durant only above Howard for the gratuitous "best player on the team that got to the finals but didn't win" ranking placement. No worse than 3-4 anyway, so not a big deal for him to get a slightly higher rank.

Paul above Rose because of Rose's injury. Would've been arguable either way otherwise. Tbh, I'm surprised they still ranked him that high even with it. Glad to see that for Rose.

I didn't read anyone else's rankings. I usually don't when I open ranking threads until I make my post.

If you had the same ones, then I guess we agree. But copying someone else's opinion in the last shit I'd ever do on this forum.

The ESPN list is more off reputation than current play ability.

Current top 10 list would be (the list where winning a championship 10 years ago wouldn't matter)

10. Parker
9. Westbrook
8. Wade
7. Love
6. Deron
5. Carmelo
4. Paul
3. Howard

Last year the only other player that could create was Jet and Delonte :lmao

I didn't say your roster this year is not better than last year's. I said it is a shit roster. You guys have some MLE-type players on it with an aging _irk. I'm guessing 48-34 is your absolute ceiling with an expected 1st round exit.

Darren is a nice pick up. Ditto for Mayo. But Caveman/_irk frontcourt ain't scaring nobody. :lol

Gasol got massively overrated because of the Olympic Games. In the NBA, he is not a top 15 player. Not after 2 playoffs in a row playing like shit.

How the hell Deron Williams is in the top 10 ? He was basically an inefficient chucker last season in NJ shooting 40% FG.

This may be your most shitful take ever, tbh....

Firstly, Swaggy P had some hot streaks here and there, but played zero defense and his shot selection was often embarrassing.... not to mention, we don't need a bench full of zero-defense, inconsistent chuckers, tbh... that's pretty much what we had last year other than Eric Bledsoe, and it killed us many a time during the season....

Secondly, Jamal Crawford is basically a comparable shooter to Nick Young career-wise (their TS and eFG are about the same), but with more assists per game, more rebounds per game, WAY better at free throw shooting, less personal fouls per game, more points per game, and of course, more experience.... meanwhile, we got Lamar and Grant Hill holding it down with EBled on the bench defense tip....

Finally, we let him go back to Philly? Funny, considering he was never on the Sixers in the first place, tbh....

Listen up dude...if you date one of my ex's all I can say is be my guest...because one man's trash is another man's treasure...in other words Lamar Odom, Matt Barnes, Caron Butler, and Ronny Turiaf are shit for brains players...they like cum shots...or sloppy seconds we done already bust those nuts homie..you can have em...:lol

Grant Hill is 40 I know Steve is old as well but he leads the league in Assists and FG% from outside...so it's a pretty big difference....

and lastly don't even mention that negro Chauncy and Crawford...ain't nobody scared of fucking ass Chauncy and Jamal Crawford is a chucker in the worse way...he's like the sour cream on a nasty ass taco...

Chris Paul just can't get right...his hammy's are bad...

Rondo is. Garnett, for all his tenacity, cannot will himself to light the flame as he did at least in 2010.

If only Rondo could develop a jumper, and up his scoring avg by 3 pts or so, he'd jump into the top 10 easily. Of course, by the time he gets that jumper, he'll probably have lost his athleticism. :lol

I thought Carmelo shitting a brick in the 1st round last year would lead you to ease up on the deepthroating but I guess that's not the case

Melo was the best player in the league for the month of April. He was consistent, a monster on the glass and was motivated on the defensive end.

Against the Heat he was guarded by the most versatile defender since Rodman and was the focal point of the Heat's overall defensive scheme. He didn't get much help, unlike Durant.

Durant didn't exactly shine against LeBron and the Heat in the finals either, and somehow it's not his fault.

Seeing the final two minutes of the playoff game against the Thunder where he turned the ball over 2 straight possessions and lost the game by his damn self; he shouldn't be even considered top 10.

His defense is even more overrated than his offense. That rank is by reputation more than anything, same reason Melo is ranked so low.
