Only a true Spurs fan can predict another NBA Championship ring long before the season even starts.

Please don't wait until they are in the second round of the playoffs to reply to this topic and look like a wannabe bandwagon fan.....

This is the 2012 San Antonio Spurs NBA Champions "Roll Call"

I'm calling it right now. 2012 NBA Champs, your San Antonio Spurs. I'm honestly rooting for Manu to be Finals MVP. But then again, with all of this, one can hope.

2013 NBA Champions, you silly folk. :lobt:

Manu as a Finals MVP off the bench would be a first.

If the Spurs are going to use a time-machine, they might as well go back to Duncan's prime. :p:

What you might feel in the first round of the playoffs is a slight sting, but that's Spurs pride fuking with cha..

Da Kings say your going down in the 1st round.

Dam that's a tough one... I still think we're top 5 in the league and if the big 3 are healthy we definitely got a legitimate shot but the only thing is we lack some star power...

Ahhh if the pistons could do it and beat that stacked lakers team then it can be done. I still believe though because just a few months ago the spurs had me (and the rest of the league) like :-0 loll

Sorry, they lost.

Anything else you want to know about the future? Spurs signed Eddy Curry for training camp. Rangers lost the division to the A's. Mitt Romney likes coal and big bird.

Son, when was the last time the Kings even sniffed the playoffs?

The only way that will happen is if the Spurs go back to their defensive roots and get Bonner out of the rotation. They've also got to learn to hit the midrange shot if there are no other options and develop their post game.

I'm all in for us winning.
I'd bet my ex-wife's life on it.

Have not posted in months since that travesty that was the nebulous officiating (and some of the Spurs non clutch play) in the Thunder - Spurs series, but what the hell, Go Spurs. Maybe, just maybe the type of Spurs energy and great play that won 20 straight games will actually show up for a full playoffs and maybe the Lakers, Thunder, Heat or even the Bulls/Celtics won't be truly great this year???? A lot of maybes but just maybe this Spurs team can win it all - but would not bet the house on it unless Spurs get at least one great mid season addition and/or there are huge chemistry or injury issues with the current favorites.

I liked what Pop said on media day. It's basically what I have been saying. The Thunder stole the Spurs identity and the Spurs started playing more as individuals and less as a team. That effectively neutralized the Spurs greatest strength. The Thunder weren't able to sustain that in the next round because that wasn't their real identity.

In. It won't sit right with me if Tim ends up with fewer rings than Kobe. It would be cool if each of the big 3 have at least one finals MVP

INB4 1st pre season game.

I love the San Antonio Spurs, by the way, if you're betting on the NBA this year, I think they'll win it all.

Even if Spurs make it into the Finals past LAL and OKC (and Dallas too), POP WILL FUCK IT UP.
