That fucker missed Roberts when he was wide open awhile back. Fucking Kolb... If their O-line was a bit better and they had even a decent QB they would be a contender, IMO

I still like them to win... Wouldn't mind if Kolb threw a pick 6 to Finnegan, though (he's my IDP)

Good thing the cards paid Kolb a ton of money. He's gonna need to pay his chiro with all those hits.

Grimm needs to be dragged through the streets, beaten, then set on fire.

Or just fired, but it needs to happen. Worst line since those early Texans' lines.

Grimm sucks but I don't fault him for not being able to make D'anthony Batiste look like a competent left tackle in the NFL. Rod Graves should receive 1000x more blame for the line being this bad. It's been a weakness for the last decade and Graves hasn't done shit to address it.

Graves, Jizzenhunt, Grimm, and basically every other offensive coach should have lost their job after last season.

I agree with this, but 6 years is enough to develop at least a decent line.

I agree with this, but 6 years is enough to develop at least a decent line.

Rod Graves have been the GM of the Cardinals for over a decade and the line has been dogshit the entire time. He's the common denominator people for whatever reason ignore.

JMarkJohns
10-05-2012, 04:38 PM
I don't completely ignore Graves. But I figure if I'm the offensive line coach, I've got two responsibilities: 1. Coach up what's there, and, 2. if still mediocre, let it be known, voice need in private, in public, and put pressure on the management to prioritize the positions for a few years.

Grimm isn't doing either. Some is Whiz, much is Graves, but ultimately the representatives of his coaching look like crap week in, week out, and so, if he can't do any better, so be it. Lots of lines face similar monetary issues, but they can either pass block or run block. This line for can't do either, despite having two high draft picks at RB and several 1sts at WR and a 2nd at QB.

I get what you're saying and agree, but I'm not convinced Grimm can teach.

Nice game.
Over .500 for the first time since 2006. Thats 93 games of irrellevant bad football. Its good to be back among the living and competing again.

I love what this team may become in a year or two.
