Wow, just as Gallup gives him Missouri and Ohio.

What a bummer.

CBS: Bush 49 Kerry 42
Gallup: Bush 52 Kerry 45
Newsweek: Bush 54 Kerry 43
Time: Bush 52 Kerry 41....

Bush challenging Kerry in Pennsylvania, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Oregon, Iowa, New Jersey, etc...

Yeah, no bounce.

Also, Nbadan, if you had bothered to read Rasmussen's explanation of why their polls show a smaller gap, you'd know that the current data includes anomolous data from weekend polling that can't be explained.

Rasmussen made a point of questioning his own poll, on the website.

You got to look at more than the numbers.

Ohio is looking like a virtual lock for Bush right now. Even Zogby has Bush up by 11 there.

Wouldn't it just be a kicker if Kalifornia comes over?

Yeah, and Kerry will take Texas. Who's dreaming now?

Compare and Contrast. Oh Yeah, Republican Governors in both states...and, Ahnold is hugely popular with his constituents.

Nbadan, there's a big difference between 8 points (Kalifornia) and 24 points (Texas). Also, looking at the polling data above, Kerry is trending downward while Bush is holding steady...Nader may be sucking votes from Kerry. If Bush gets a good boost in Kalifornia -- with a Nader spoiler -- it's certainly doable.

SpursWoman,

That poll doesn't matter, just the ones showing Kerry with the lead.[/nba dan]

I don't see much bounce left in Kerry.
