Well since he's getting two strike zones out there, you're right.

Game 1 belongs to us. Tomorrow the A's are seeing Doug Fister at 12 et, meaning it's their pacific time 9 am. Coco Crisp ain't going to hit a leadoff HR again.

Alburquerque kept it tied in the ninth when he got Yoenis Cespedes (http://espn.go.com/mlb/player/_/id/32080/yoenis-cespedes) to hit a comebacker with men on first and third and two outs. He gave the ball a quick smooch before throwing underhand to first."I just did it," he said. "It was the emotion of the game. I wasn't trying to be a hot dog."Oakland outfielder Josh Reddick (http://espn.go.com/mlb/player/_/id/30195/josh-reddick) wasn't thrilled."We didn't appreciate that. I thought it was immature and not very professional," Reddick said. "You don't do that on the field. Save it for the dugout. That's all I'm going to say."

If Verlander is great and Fister is average, the Tigers can win it all. Maybe, the A's used too much energy anal raping the Rangers?

Don't have to worry about either Verlander or Fister. If Max is on the top of his game and is healthy, the Tigers will make it deep. Look for Sanchez to steal some games as well, 2.64 ERA since September.

I'm rooting for the tigers. I like them mostly due to Cabrera and I like the pitchers that Verlander and Fister are. I hope they smash on the Athletics. I hate how when they get some outs they get all "fired up". Seems to be more professional to flaunt and cuss and junk rather than just kissing the ball. Its not like al kissed the ball and stared down at the player when he did it. Cabrera for MVP I seddddddddddddddddddd.

I know it was our 4th stringer Sanchez starting but still the Tigers should have won this one, especially since Oakland just couldn't stop catching Prince's blasts.

Detroit really benefited from the current format. They played in a weak division which allowed them to play the Twins, Tribes, and Royals 19 times making their schedule much easier compared to other playoff contenders and they still finished with the 7th best record in the AL. They're not that impressive as a team.

I don't know if you're being sarcastic but no it doesn't. The same shit that happens in the MLB can happen in the NFL. A crappy 9-7 or 8-8 team can make the playoffs just by winning its division, not only that they would also get a game at home.

I know divisions and conferences exist to avoid extra travelling miles but if it was up to me I would just have everybody playing everybody with the top teams getting to the playoffs.
