Hitting the lotto usually equals splurging on at least one ride. I wouldn't load up a garage with cars but I would have one of these within a week.

2013 Jaguar XKR-S...or Rolling Sex...either is an appropriate title.

What would yours be?

Fantasy world, I'd have a whole garage full of cars. Mostly old and very obscure.

Real world, there aren't too many cars that excite me that I'd actually want to drive every day. I'd have to do some comparison shopping and would probably end up just getting something not hideous that was practical and could be paid for in one fell swoop.

Yeah, for daily driver I'd just stick with a medium level truck. I've already got the speed/fast car thing out of my system. Been there done that. As for picking up hot women for gratuitous sex, a 3 million dollar boat parked at Sailfish Marina in Palm Beach with cocktail hour is > jaguar.

Something like an Icon Derelict. Old 50's body painted to look like a rusty piece of shit, but underneath is a 2012 performance sedan complete with air conditioning and creature comforts. Wouldn't be afraid to drive it around in town and get it dinged, and it'd be the sleeper of sleepers. If I have to go with a sleeper from the factory I'd get a Jeep Cherokee SRT

http://www.jd3.com/pagani_zonda5.jpg

Pagani Zonda. Not even sure if they're street legal in the USA and it would suck to scrape on the road, but damn it's a beautiful machine

Actually screw the Zonda. I'd go for a Bullitt Mustang body or a classic Sean Connery Aston Martin with modern components underneath.

Damn I'm poor

I live in southern Minnesota, corn country, so there is an abundance of flat, straight roads. Also, it corners a lot better than you think it does. More than all that, I think it's the coolest looking car in existence.

I'm not interested in what people may think is the best, fastest, most powerful, etc. I'd be happy with a Ford GT.

Well, I know that a car that weighs 4,162 lbs is not going to corner well. I saw a spec on lateral G's of 0.94. Corvettes do better than that, and my car will probably do better with a suspension upgrade and sticker tires. As for driving on your nice flat roads, they don't seem so flat when you exceed 150 MPH. Ever go that fast? The slightest rise of fall in the road becomes rather harsh at high speeds. I have gone that fast, and then some, in Germany. I doubt you would find any place here in the USA outside of a track to come anywhere near that cars potential, without risking your life.

Close second is the Reventon

This car is lighter and no doubt, would corner to my satisfaction. Didn't find lateral G specs though. So what... it doesn't set the speed record for a car. I think it's a better choice.

That would be a cool car to have. I'm hard-headed in the aspect I will probably stay with USA cars only.

Scared at 163? That car should handle it just fine, or was the road a bit wavy? I've been close to 170 when I lived in Germany.

The car handled fine (it was an 04')...It was the scenery outside whipping by that had me rattled :lol I had only driven maybe 110/120 before that. I think the fact that the car still had so much left freaked me out a bit too.

Best answer in the thread, so far.

I once dated a guy who had a Black Shadow. And, which I wouldn't go so far as to say I dated him FOR his motorcycle (in truth, I didn't know about it until we'd already gone out a few times), I would say that when we split it was much harder to lose access to the bike than to lose access to the guy.

I wouldn't blow a third of my money on an expensive and luxurious car tbh. You're either end up robbed or dead for flashing it.

I'd rather buy a house somewhere down the keys or something more useful than a million dollar car.

Chances of someone burglarizing your house is higher than having your aston martin or any flashy car getting carjacked. You cant sell it in the chopshop and its too flashy for a joyride around town.

Disagree.

It just doesn't sound right. Houses rarely get burglarized unless is a mansion or some type of high profile person that lives in it.

You're more likely to get carjacked then get your housed robbed. Specially if you're driving a super expensive card around your block.

It seems like common sense to me.

Huh?

There's a lot wrong with that but Shadowflames obviously doesn't understand the chopshop business. No chopshop is going to take an Aston Martin or Rolls Royce or any similar type car. Those car's parts aren't worth much on the black market (a Toyota Camry is more valuable to a chopshop than a Rolls Royce) plus you don't want to give cops hundreds of thousands of dollars of incentive to find your chopshop. And it's not likely you can conspicuously sell an Aston Martin on the black market.

Roll through the hood in a Lambo and you're pretty damn safe, tbh.
