The demise of Harden is overrated tbh. Hell likely repeat as 6th man of the year and will still be a Top 3-4 SG in the game imo.

He's shooting less than 33% from the field. The only reason his PPG have been respectable is because he flops his way to the line.

He was pretty much competing with himself last year for 6th man of the year - not really an award that is deserving of too much accolades for last year.

I know OKC fans who dislike him tbh, yes the hate is somewhat over exaggerated but it would be a joke to say he's anything more than a good player

Yeah I totally agree with your assessment.

He's a good player, not great or game-changing. He really played out of his mind against the Spurs, which is evident by his shooting and ability to make big shots.

The fact that he won the 6th man shows how weak the competition is for that award. Had Manu been injury free, he would have won, especially considering how well he started the season.

I don't dislike James Harden, but I still hold some big disappointment at heart because of how he played in the finals. He really let a lot of people down here in OK. I don't think he deserves a max contract, but he'll probably get it and Presti will let Serge walk. That's the word going around.

Serge is very young. He still lacks the ability to play 1-1 defense, that's a product of lack of fundamentals.

A summer long session with a retired Tim Duncan would do wonders. :)

Harden plays well against good competition. It was against Miami's tenacious D that he did not play well.
