That was a shit offer too, but yeah, better than the one they took. Orlando should have just held his ass until the trade deadline until he agreed to go somewhere that could have provided a decent return. There is absolutely no way Howard was going to turn down a fifth year and the max raises he would get as a Bird FA by not signing an extension anywhere.
