New Guy Here. What’s Up!
I am not exactly unfamiliar with this board as I check here occasionally to see what’s up with my team cuz this place usually has the low down on everything the Spurs do. For the most part I know what I’m getting into by joining this board.
I’ve been a Spurs fan for as long as I can remember. So about the time Tim Duncan was drafted. Yeah, I'm not that old. My first memories were Avery Johnson making the base line jump shot to give the spurs the lead in game 5 of the 1999 finals, D-Rob’s and TD’s lock down defense and Sean ****** throwing the ball up in the air celebrating their first championship.
Even though I have been a fan for a while and witness all their title runs, I didn't start getting really into it until maybe 2009 when the Spurs played the Mavs in the first round in which we ended up losing. Since then, I have been doing my homework in basketball 101, you know, the basics.
I’ll probably start posting more often when the season starts. I just wanted to introduce myself officially. Can’t wait ‘til the regular season starts! I think it’s gonna be a blast!

lol Well, today was a good start even though it was a preseason game. De Colo is already my third favorite Spur outside of the Big Three!

Guess I'll speak up to!! I became a fan in 1999 when I was taken to see the 99 series against the Timberwolves (epic matchup between KG and Duncan)... and I've been a fan ever since. Yes that makes me a "New Age Spurs Fan" because Championship is the only acceptable result of a season!! I've been perusing the board for a couple years and its pretty clear you guys are the best. I'm happy to contribute some thoughtful takes, complete homer level of optimism, and well deserved Bonner hatred that burns with the passion of a thousand suns.
