Thinking of dressing up your pet as a superhero, elephant or in lederhosen this Halloween? If so, be warned, you won’t be alone.

Hub-based Wayfair.com today announced this year’s most popular Halloween costumes for pets, with heroic icons such as Bat-Dog and Spider-Dog topping the list. Then came elephant and lederhosen, while taco came in at number four and a chef’s costume rounded out the top five.

According to the National Retail Federation, spending on Halloween costumes for pooches, and occasionally cats, is expected to hit a record $370 million this year, up nearly 20 percent from last year. :wow:wow

I usually dress her up in a maid's costume. But not for Halloween.

My little dog wears a red devil costume on Halloween; she's okay with the cape but she hates the horns so it doesn't last long. We put some red headphones on my big dog the other day and he looked hilarious like a giant fruit fly, so I'm gonna look for some wings to complete the look for Halloween :)
