Very nice. My dad was a rocket scientist out at White Sands Missile Range for 45 years, I'm gonna share this video with him. Thanks :toast

I remember when Spirit landed. Those years back, they also showed how the landing took place. NASA really has their shit together on space ventures.

Your oldest "boys".......

RG has tasked me with reading a book about this subject (which I'm finally getting around to).

Great stuff. For anyone who gets BBC, Horizon has a few great episodes that air from time to time about the various Mars missions we have done over the last 15 years or so.

The latest one has a much cooler landing procedure, damn near sci-fi but it worked (probably not according to Mouse, all done in a studio).

The Case for Mars by a guy named Zubrin.

Mars colony on a shoestring.

For about $100bn over ten years or so, you get a permanent human base there. Bootstrapping is the way to go.

Did anyone here see the other video how NASA and Scientist found a cure for Autism yet?

Talk about really cool graphics, seeing those happy children, kids, and students remove the helmets and start applying at the nearest collage to someday do Anal vodka enemas with they're college roommates using government grants they will never payback was actually awesome to watch.

Anyone catch it?

The simple elegance of the plan is quite intriguing. I didn't realize that this guy worked at NASA in the past.

Reading through now.
