Will the Irish finally be exposed this week, or are they for real?

Stanford quarterback sucks. two awful throws lead to two picks

symple19
10-13-2012, 03:18 PM
:lol

And the Domers can only get 3 points out of it

If I was Stanford, I would just run it on every down. ND can't stop it and Nunes can't throw for shit

ND is for real this year but they might be the most boring team to watch. I feel like it's a small miracle every time they complete a pass because they don't make anything look easy at all.

neither of this teams are a legit threat. lol at the officials pushing Notre Dame down the field towards the end of the 4th quarter.

That's a TD by Stanford.

Don't see how they didn't call that. They reviewed whether it was a TD or not and it was a TD. He wasn't down and he crossed the plane.

Their defense is stout as fuck, but their offense is awful

LOL talk about a racket! ... I don't like either team, but Stanford got hosed in this one. this game never should have been in overtime to begin with. the officials pushed Notre Dame down the field at the end of the 4th with phantom calls out the ass and allowed them to tie it up. regardless that was a clear touchdown by Stanford at the end. unbelievable ... makes you wonder if this game had been AT STANFORD instead of at Notre Dame would the officials have overturned the ruling on the field? I think maybe the officials got emotionally carried away with the crowd.

:lol the refs in that game were fuckin horrible

Notre Dame might run the table given the rest of their schedule. The team that beats ND is a team that's deep at receiver and can spread their secondary out with a great passing game. USC is the one team left on their schedule fitting that description.

I think they'll lose @ Okie Doke and @ USC

They might have the best D-line in college football. Tuitt is a future top 15 pick and Day, Moore, Nix are all beasts. If Aaron Lynch didn't transfer it's scary how good it'd be.

also, they've been known to drop at least one game against somebody they have no business losing to over the past 10+ years.

Keep in mind they only beat Purdue by 3... at home

although that dismantling of Mich St on the road was impressive

sons I honestly hope that Notre Dame wins out because it will be hilarious watching them get exposed in a title game when they have to play legit competition.

(btw I'm not saying Stanford wasn't legit because they are a pretty good team, but lets be real ... the officials won this game for Notre Dame and Stanford is a borderline top 25 team to begin with)

ND needs to keep playing that QB at QB, and not the Athlete

Once they play a fast team on the road they will get wacked. They lack team speed and it's very obvious.

Oh yeah, Stanford did score.

:lol

a 4cc sighting

You guys finally have a legit team, may be time to dust off the ole' original screen name

I watched Stanford vs ND now it's LSU vs So Carolina. It's as if my TV was in slow mo during the ND game and now in the fast mode with this SEC came going on.

Ever notice these schools known for acedemics always lack speed?

Avante, ND has an elite defense worthy of the SEC this year. Several future NFLers on that Domer squad. Their offense is awful, but that defense is almost as good as the best the SEC has to offer, imo (maybe not the secondary)

I'm not sold on that, what would happen if they played SEC teams week after week? Obviously they have a good defense but when have they played a team that can run? You saw LSU vs So Carolina, totally different level of...zoooommmmm!!!!! When has ND faced a team with speedy backs/receivers and lots of them?

I agree for the most part, but you have to take weather into account and the team they were playing. Stanford has one of the most straight-forward offense's in the nation.

That being said, the Domers are an 8 win team, at most, in the SEC (cupcakes are 3 of that 8)

ND can't get those speedy Florida/Texas kids because of admission requirements. The SEC is full of them. I'm with you 8 win team because they don't face SEC teams/USC/FSU/Oregon/Clemson.
