Is this where he talks about across the board tax cuts? Wasn't the top marginal tax rate like 90%? Well... when it gets there, I'll join the fight to lower them.

Liberals beware...

In the first two minutes, he speaks like a supply-sider.

Halfway through, he speaks of not spending more than can be justified and other economics problems our government fails on today.

Good video.

At the 3/4 point, it becomes apparent that his supply side beginning is so there is a consumption increase by consumers for growth, and more for wealthy people to invest capital.

He believes in the Laffer curve!

If it were not so long, parts of it could make a good Red Team commercial.

Without looking, I believe it was 70%. Twice as much as today. Two things to keep in mind though.

1) Very few rich people earned enough income to pay such rates. We still had a capital gains rate.

2) Tariffs and logistics kept us from having our jobs outsourced like they are today.
