Come on. He would have burned up in the atmosphere. Not to mention exploding once he broke the sound barrier.
It's ironic that with the advances in technology and the ability to actually document things more accurately, that we choose to simply photoshop and lip sync our way through the 21st century.
In a couple of years, there won't be any need to actually have real football teams. Hell, we'll just use some CGI and make the games really interesting. You'll be able to tell when all of a sudden a white runningback leads the NFL in rushing.
