No Hill, Odom or Billups for the Clippies, all nursing different injuries.

Mik:lol Br:lolwn facing his first 7 game losing streak of this young season.

Game starts at 10:30ET and will be broadcast on NBATV.

Both teams playing at home, so no excuses, tbh, kthx

Also, :lmao at Vinny and CP3 calling out that douche Arash Markazi:

When I was late to a Clippers practice a few weeks ago after stopping by the Lakers’ practice facility, Clippers coach Vinny Del Negro asked me: “What were you doing? Kissing the Lakers’ a—— again?”

When I was late to an event Chris Paul had last weekend because I took in Dwight Howard’s debut with the Lakers, Paul looked at me and said sarcastically: “The Lakers are more important, huh? You had to go see Dwight’s debut? It’s all good.”

No CP3 and half their bench is pretty much hurt. I think they're good. I think Bledsoe is legit and has a high ceiling. Vinny is obviously the weak link, but barring injuries, I think they can be much better than last season.

I agree though undersized he is a great athlete with a high motor. That is why I argued Hornets were dumb not to insist on Bledsoe over Aminu. Gordon Rivers, Bledsoe is a nice guard rotation. People on here Nola fans and some Spur ones likemy huckleberry argued he was a bench scrub.

the sun shines on a dog's ass once in a while. it's just a preseason game and it doesn't mean much to outplay jordan who's also overrated to some extent. it looks to me that jordan is just another player who benefits from playing with a great player (monkeyball)

Have to admit that the Clipshow is deep. I love Bledsoe's game and with more maturation he could become a starting PG in the leage. Definately an impact player on both ends, namely Defense.

^ Deep but more importantly undisciplined...between Odom, Barnes, Butler, and Crawford they have a collective IQ of about 69..if Phil Jackson was coaching them right now I'd be concerned...but for crying out loud they have a guy named Vinny Del Negro...:lol

Our starting 5 should be enough to run-away from the Clippas....Dwight > Jordan and Blake...which pretty much leaves Gasol to add the icing to the cake...

CP3 is a good passer and facilitator but when passing to low IQ guys it balances out...I still pick the Grizzles over the CLippas...

Problem for you is CP3 will be playing and CP3 is an easier match-up for Nash...however, Bledsoe can't lead a team to the play-offs so for you it's literally damed if you do or damed if you don't...

Mayo wasn't their main contributor...You guys were lucky...you beat them because Nick Young caught fire like lightning in a bottle...but guess what Nick Young doesn't play for you anymore...The Grizzles starting 5 is better than yours in my opinion...with the emergence of Rudy Gay I see no way you guys beat them...they are very good down low you don't have the bigs to compete...and bigs off the bench...unless you're relying on Jordan...:lol in a tight series give me Zach over Blake all day ere day...they have the right balance of offense and defense especially with Tony Allen...dude is a beast defensively...

Gasol
Zach
Conley Jr
Allen
Gay

^ He will no such thing...in fact he never has...Nash beats Paul in assists while Paul may score a few more baskets per game which is only marginal at best...are you trying to tell me that CP3 is smarter than Nash...no one believes that...he's younger but that's really it...Nash is still at this age a better facilitator and floor general than CP3... Just look at what Nash did when he was the clear leader of his team vs what CP3 accomplished in NO...plus Nash is a better shooter...

with our defensive rotations (help) this will negate any real advantage that CP3 or any others guards have for that matter...fact is CP3 is no longer a prime time penetrating guard like WestBrook or Rondo...those guys are the ones that I worry about more...and if push comes to shove we'll just put Kobe on CP3 and that will completely shut him down...just like Kobe shut down Westbrook last season when he kept torching Sessions...

whitemamba
10-25-2012, 02:05 PM
i really dont want to see kobe picking up any point guards, we have to rely heavily on our frontcourt to rotate and communicate.. kobe is a great defender no question, he can shut down any opposing PG.. but that shouldnt be his job, and the debate between nash and cp3 needs to be put to rest, nash is lightyears ahead of paul when it comes to controlling the game and ball iq.

^ I agree...but if the game is on the line and we need Mamba to step up...he will..there's not a PG in the league that a 34 yr old Kobe ca't shut down if given the assignment..He proved it last season when he completely had to shut down not only Westbrook but Ty Lawson as well because they abused Sessions so bad...those are some of the fastest PG's in the league...and at 34 my Nigga can stay in front of them...:toast

Sup with CP3's extension hommie? He has a $17M expiring contract. (http://hoopshype.com/salaries/la_clippers.htm) Why did he not sign an extension over the summer? Factors he will likely consider when making his decision:

:lol Donald Sterling is no Dr. Jerry Buss
:lol Clippers have 8 playoff appearances in 41 years
:lol Clippers have 2 playoff teams since they moved to LA
:lol Jrdan making $22.3M in the next 2 years

Unlike D12 with the Lakers, he gone. This will be the last year of having any relevancy for the Clippers. I'm guessing Bledsoe will be the starter in 2013 and not CP3. :downspin: that shit. :lol

2 more years? im pretty sure if he really wanted to stay he would of signed the extension and focused on basketball. the fact is cp3 is going to be a big asset this year, and a lot of teams are going to be throwing that max at him.. is he really happy being in the shadow of kobe and the lakers, then dwight and the lakers.. everyone in the world and LA know that the lakers play for rings kid... clippers play for bananas

the fact is cp3 is going to be a big asset this year, and a lot of teams are going to be throwing that max at him..
But yet, by the rules of the new CBA, no team can give him a better offer than the Clippers.... and furthermore, pretty much every team that could actually afford him would be a downgrade...

Dwight looks like a lock, but he's gonna ask for the keys to the mansion... we'll see what the kobester thinks about that.

Keys to the mansi:loln? Kobe's deal expires in 2014 when he is like 35. Dwight's new deal would start one year prior when he is like 28. I don't see the problem. Even if Kobe reups with a hometown discount, it is clear that this will be Dwight's team.

Let's see, on one hand, player A can resign with the Donald Sterling Clippers for max money.

Donald Sterling: senile

CP3:

From his perch at the head table, CP3 assures me that he preferred the Clippers to the Lakers all along. "They had the better pieces," he says, "and winning with the Clippers would be legendary."

Dwight:

Dwight Howard admitted Thursday that he wanted to be traded from the Orlando Magic to the Brooklyn Nets.

Howard, who was ultimately dealt to the Los Angeles Lakers, said, "I did want to go to Brooklyn. That's a place where I told the Magic that I really wanted to go," to Stephen A. Smith and Ryan Ruocco on ESPN NewYork 98.7 FM.

Kobe's deal expires whenever he says it expires, tbh... which is likely after he feels satisfied chasing the records he's chasing. For example, if he feels like chasing that 6th or 7th title, he might play another 6 or 7 years...

What we know though, is that in his desperation to look alpha he'll bitch and moan non-stop. I mean, this is a guy that ejected the 3-peat Phil/Shaq. Howard is a small fish in comparison, tbh
