T-Mac was an MVP caliber player when he got traded. Unless Harden reveals that Durant and Westbrook were holding him down and he's actually MJ re-incarnated, I think the T-Mac deal is easily better in a vacuum. Time will ultimately tell though, seeing how T-Mac on the Rockets accomplished absolutely nothing.

Wasn't all his fault.

its not like your 7'6 hero had ever achieved any legit shit either. agree t-mac was an excellent player at the time, being the scoring champ in two consecutive years iirc, but his tenures at toronto & magic had proven him not someone capable of carrying a shitty team. he didn't live up to expectations but that was hardly the fault of him imho, it's your fault to expect a male cock to lay eggs

I understand it wasn't all McGrady's fault as well as anybody, but my point is that ultimately, the T-Mac deal didn't win a a championship. James Harden isn't nearly the player 2004 McGrady is, but if we can somehow build a contender with Harden in the mix as an alpha dog (more likely he'll be a championship caliber #2), this will obviously be the better deal.
