Who else is stoked about this movie? It's been a while since i've actually cared about a new release.

I don't personally just because I'm not a fan of Bond but I'll see it as they are at least above average

The last two Bond movies were excellent. Looking forward to seeing this one.

Daniel Craig makes a good Bond after the last one, much needed upgrade.

Casino Royale was good. Quantum sucked balls. This trailer for Skyfall looks amazing though. I must see it.

I grew up with Pierce as Bond and hated him. Craig is helping me to enjoy Bond. He's pretty good. Casino definitely better than Quantum

Casino Royale. When Le Chiffre was cutting out the bottom of the chair, I was wondering what he was trying to do. The simplicity alone makes it the best Bond torture scene.

Not to mention Bond had some of the best lines in that scene.

Im pretty hyped about Skyfall, personally. Im a huge Bond fan, and Craig has been a great Bond so far. I've enjoyed both Casino and Quantum, so I can't wait to see how Skyfall turns out. Looks pretty damn good.

Saw it today. Great acting, great visuals...just solid action movie making. Even those that aren't Bond diehards will like it.

9/10

I didn't see Quantum but it was better than Casino.

Hopefully I'll see it this weekend. Javier Bardem makes a great villain. I've heard it's superb.

Went to the midnight showing at the IMAX. Was very good and entertaining. A couple normal cliche's that I can't stand in movies, but I liked it. I think MI:4 is a tad better though. Different franchises I know, just saying.

Been a fan of Craig, good actor. :tu

The only good thing about this movie was Bardem

Pretty much like he made no country for old men bearable

I'm pumped as shit. Casino Royale is one of my faves, no doubt. I fell asleep at the theater during Quantum, fucking hated it. Haven't seen the trailer for Skyfall and don't need to; the reviews are strong. Can't wait for this in IMAX this Saturday.

did they kill off the group of rich bad guys from casino/quantum or are they in this still? One of the only good scenes from QOS is when Bond crashes their rich people party

I thought QoS was good. I think a lot of the disappointment that's aimed at it is due to the fact that before it was released some people/critics were claiming that it was going to be the best Bond ever.

A gay scene involving Bond.
Please elaborate those of you who have seen.

It was okay. In the average bond rating. Tries to do too much early and not enough late. Main problem is the villains, or lack thereof. Yeah medrano and greene are despicable, but I didn't feel too much emotional involvement.

Man, saw it tonight and its DAMN good. Craig is a great actor and just killed it. Javier was really awesome, Judy Dench was great and the cinematography was AMAZING.

First off, the cinematography was amazing. But Deakins always shoots beautifully, so that is to be expected. Also, Sam Mendes is BY FAR the best director they've gotten for a Bond film in quite a while. It really was a stunning film to look at.

Ultimately, this is probably the closest I have gotten to liking one of the Daniel Craig Bond films without exception or disclaimer. It felt a bit long at a few moments, but just a bit. I still think the move to a more serious/less campy Bond franchise is, personally, a bit dissatisfying, but this one had a pretty good balance of serious and fun. I'm still not wild about Craig, but that's entirely a matter of taste. I recognize he's a good actor, but I just don't much like him for some reason. But these are all pretty minor things. I generally enjoyed watching the film from start to end.

Most triumphantly, Skyfall is the first of the Craig films that actually felt like a Bond movie, rather than a generic action flick that just happened to have gadgets and recognizable theme music. All the little callbacks to the old films made me very happy and somewhat optimistic about the rest of Craig's tenure.

Oh, also, Javier Bardem was perfectly delightful as the villain.

This is interesting; despite being a great movie, in my opinion, Casino Royale doesn't feel particularly "Bond-ish". I am now looking more forward to this movie than I was before.

After the disappointment of Quantum, this looks to be quite the bounce back.

The movie fucking sucked. What horrible shit. I was laughing most of the time. I laughed harder than most comedies.

The only acceptable part was the visual direction. Acting could only do so good with such terrible writing. Writing was just a tad worse than Prometheus and TDKR.

It was okay. The last Bond movie I really liked was Goldeneye. Casino had its moments but felt kind of like a yawner to me. And I've already forgotten what Quantum was even about. But Skyfall was fun... I liked the homages to the classic films.

I think I agree with all of this.

I want to like Craig as Bond, but there is just something missing.

I think he needs to be more of a smart ass ladies man and less of a robot, imo.

Saw it this past weekend. Thought it was pretty damn good. I like what they're doing to make it a continuing series. Also, they're giving more depth to several of the characters that needed it, specifically M & Q.

I like Craig as Bond. He's likeable and edgy at the same time. And I didn't think I would ever say this but he's ooching up to a tie with Sean Connery as the best Bond. Apples and oranges, but a tie, imo.
