Too many possibilities. Without knowing details of the camera, I will assume the black and white image included the IR spectrum. From there, still plausible explanations.

Smells like bullshit. IMO.

The more dramatic the istuff looks like or claims to be, the less likely it is not to be faked.

you should've tried harder to find out the exact location of the studio where the vid was faked, using shadow analysis
