I do think Ray Allen is a great pick-up, especially one motivated to beat the Celts ...

But he has little to do with why the Heat will win it all. Is he gonna shoot better in a deciding series game than Miller or Battier did LAst year?

The Heat will win because they have the best player in the game, and another top 10 player (not sure Wade is top 5 anymore with everyone healthy) along with a top 25 player in Bosh. The gap between Lebron is almost as great as Shaq enjoyed in 2000 (Shaq's most dominant season) he should and most likely will repeat. I doubt the 3peat occurs. They missed that boat ...losing to the Mavs. Very few teams make 4 straight Finals. Time to beat Heat is NEXT year barring injury.

3. Our bench
4. Nash defending a guard spot
5. Injury
6. MWP's shot selection and 3pt shooting
7. PAu not fading ...

Lebron is muscles and strong and shit but I just dont see this notion that he's the greatest... not even close...there are 2 types of athleticism 1.) You can be bigger, stronger, faster but that doesn't necessarily make you more athletic..or 2.) you can be big , stong, fast with the requisite skill.... For example...Lebron has never entered the dunk contest..you know why? Because all he has is a basic POWER dunk...he cannot windmill, 360, reverse between the legs, basically he cannot freak-nick like MJ and Kobe did in their primes...that's my vote for why MJ and Kobe's skill set are more coveted than Lebron's...Lebron has a basic skill set that looks great because he uses extra power with it...but outside of that he's not close to MJ and Kobe in my opinion and in all honesty I would take a prime Bird over Lebron any day...the only the Lebron was better than Bird at was getting to the rack..Bird was a better player than Lebron and that's no Hype..people tend to forget because Bird hasn't played in almost 25 yrs
