If he had two good ankles he might be worth it.

As it is, the 2013-14 Warriors will pay almost 60 million dollars to these five players:

Bogut
Curry
Biedrins
David Lee
Richard Jefferson

I feel bad for Golden State fans.

:lol like Mel said, he's definitely worth it when he's healthy..very efficient player, he has shown glimpses of effectively playing the PG position, and he has marketing value(since he has the innocence of a 15-year old boy)..however, he's already injury prone and rolls his ankles every other game, this is a massive risk..

they're fucking stupid. I talked with a few of them after the RJ trade last season; they sincerely thought they screwed us over by getting that 1st round pick.

On the bright side, GSW now has multiple challengers for the Expensive Cripple 1st team

Tbh Curry is easily worth that when he's on the floor.

if Bogut Lee and Curry can stay healthy they stand a chance to be a pretty good team. Not a contender but certainly able to make waves in the west. Considering what Warriors fans have seen the last few decades I will take a little bit of hope over what they have gotten so far.

Ty was doing well at the time & I implied it was a good contract for Curry. With the market being how it was at the time of the deal I said it was fair.

it's just ribbing no need to justify it ... Curry had soft ankles at the time ...buy my have times changed.

Now it's the most valuable deal of any. Came up Aces - but it was even fair at the time. Now it's viewed as absurd. Especially with the cap going up & up.

Without it mo way they bring in iggy, resign bogut klay and green. Dont see how they sign Barnes though they should be glad he turned them down ...

You are right. Four-year rookie contract + four-year extension.

What's notable is how you called it right away, only like 4 years later.

in this thread specifically? sure. you know damn well i've been fighting you tooth and nail on curry as long as anybody.

just read an article on top FA's and they mentioned curry's bargain contract... didnt realize he was still making so little, so just went back to the ST thread on the contract and saw predictably awful takes from certain posters
