At this point, maybe the Pats should just pick secondary names out of a hat, or only pick them from the fifth round or lower.

oh wait, Moore was undrafted so scratch that second idea...

The fact they willingly cut him is a good thing imo, I think the McCourty, Denard, Arington top 3 is settled in for now. Hopefully it gets better/stays healthy. I have a hunch that we're gonna see a trade tomorrow.

I'm hoping they move him to free safety. He's instantly the best zone coverage defensive back they have, and he'd do a lot better at keeping the play in front of him than Wilson, McCourty, or Gregory have done at FS. That would settle the FS position so Chung would get to play closer to the LOS and would be less of a liability.

Either way this is huge, I still think they need to change the scheme to a lot more man coverage but with the amount of zone they play they finally have a corner who's actually good in zone coverage.
