Espn is not gonna sit idle and let their franchise tank. They will start pushing for Phil ASAP and will make any Lakers losses sound lime the sky is falling. They didn't let the Howard story die until it actually happened.

kobe's been the executive coach of the team for years and it's time for him to make it official now imho, it would help the team more than any coach possibly would if kobe stops playing

Van Gundy not gonna happen not just because of Dwight, also because Stern already kicked him out of the league. Sloan is a possibility, but don't sleep on Phil pushing Brian Shaw again. I doubt Phil wants to come back, tbh

Phil is not coming back

Brian SHaw is the best choice IMO

D'Antoni! :lol

Was actually thinking this. Would help Nash, and Kobe supposedly worshipped the guy as a kid. Pau would probably play well in his system. They'd probably have to trade Dwight though lol

Yeah, it's logical to a point, but Howard would be lost, Nash run into the ground, and the lack of defensive prioritizing would see a lot of points, a nice amount of wins, and an early exit come playoff time.
