Angels finally unloaded Ervin Santana and now Haren too.
So the Angel bucks for Greinke may be there.

I think Greinke and his agent will go for max all the way and that means #1 the Skunkies and then Red Sox, Doger etc.

MultiRanger you gonna get in on this or do you think Josh Hamilton will lead you to hang another Division banner?

I think Angels move clears way for them to bring him back. Moves make no sense otherwise.

The Angels also willingly traded for Vernon Wells' contract and gave Pujols 10Y/$240M... looking for sense in their moves is pointless, tbh... :lol

Most of the idiocy left with the previous management. The Wells acquisition was certainly stupid. That said, they just freed up like 30 million from Haren, Santana, and Hunter and traded a B+ prospect in acquiring Grienke. My assumption is they have intentions to re-sign him.

I think there's a very good possibility he could go to Texas. Hamilton is not going to play for 13 million a year, and Napoli is everything but a free agent.

There's a reason for that..Guy now has an 89 mph fastball when only 2 years ago was around 93..Not good, Got him for cheap but still on the hook for his salary.
