But the real question is, will we go 82-0 for the first time in team history? I'm on the edge of my seat in anticipation.

The Spurs are competing against themselves this season to get better defensively.

I know it's the beginning of the season, but every win counts. :tu You can't take ANY game for granted in the NBA today, just ask the Nets....

It's actually pretty shocking considering the Spurs success the past couple decades. Guess we just like to usually get that first loss out of the ay early :king

Every additional consecutive win from here on out will set a new franchise record (first 5-0 in team history, first 6-0 in team history, etc.)

Not to get too ahead of myself, but if we can beat the Clippers Wednesday, we have Kings then Blazers next (b2b), so 7-0 could be a possibility.

Then we have 6 tough ones in a row, sadly. @ Lakers, vs Knicks, vs Nuggets, vs Clippers, @ Celtics, @ Pacers. . .then we have to play 4 games in 5 nights, ending with a "scheduled loss" @Miami on the 4th night. Which will probably be on ESPN or TNT, and heralded as "proof of which team is the best".

So I hope we start 7-0, or at least 6-1. . . 'cause that shit's gonna go the other way real fast if Manu isn't ready by then.

Spurs will likely not beat the Blazers in Portland on the second night of a b2b ... I think this will be our first loss

we will be undefeated heading into the match up with the heat.

It's not peaking, it's playing against bad teams.
Only player that may be peaking seems to be Duncan. I don't think he can play as well the whole year

So OKC is a bad team now without James Harden? Agree about Timmy though ... the November schedule is brutal and he will need some rest soon ...

we can expect a massive trolling job from pops the next game, so there's some records to set the next year..

oklahoma, utah (theoretically should be our nemesis), pacers are not bad teams... only noh is but put up a good fight regardless...

82-0 0-4 in the playoffs

I would actually be ok/overjoyed with that; they have a champion every year, an undefeated team has never happened.

Heck just beating the bulls for regular season wins would be an accomplishment, and while it would be great if capped with a ring, even a strong play-off run afterwards would be good.

OKC is still adjusting from the Harden trade. It was their first game since then and Martin had no preseason game for the chemistry
Utah and Pacers are not the kind of teams the spurs wuld have trouble with in the playoff.

Only good team for me are : Miami, LAL and OKC once the have chemistry back, Clippers, Boston and maybe Knicks or Brooklyn

November is the hardest part of Spurs schedule this season. It's nice for Spurs to have these 4 wins before starting the toughest part of the month.
