Please list hear all the crazy things you have been told or sent that will happen if Obama wins. I want real things that people have claimed.

My two from today:

If Obama wins reelection, he will close down all the Catholic schools!

If Obama wins reelection, he will outlaw adoption! (no clue where that came from)

The 99% are gonna take it in the ass on obamacare. The bottom 15% will get it free and the other 84% of the 99% will pay for it. The 1% will have the same quality health care they always had at about the same price.

The bottom 15% already gets free healthcare and sucks the teat of the rest of the country. I really don't see Obamacare doing much, for better or for worse. Obama doesn't do anything about the fact we have a bottom layer as big as the population of Spain that lives off the rest of the country, which is one of the two big healthcare problems in our country. The other healthcare problem is our population as a whole eats too much, smokes too much, doesn't exercise enough, and doesn't give a shit about its health. Our healthcare costs wouldn't be so high if our obesity rate wasn't so high.

The director of my office stated last year that the reason we had a penalty of $500 to cover a spouse who could get their own insurance was obamacare (despite the fact that insurance companies, including the one my company uses, began charging that fee on policies in 2001-2002). He told a few people that our company is holding off on open enrollment until after the election because if Obama wins, we will see an increase of 75% in our premiums for less coverage and if Mitt is elected we will see a decrease of 5%. :lol

Democrats were quite willing to compromise in the last budget fuck up.

Oddly enough, polls of democrats show they generally place a high value on compromise at about the same rate as Republicans value "sticking to principles".

Go figure.

In this case the blame for the gridlock is a lot easier to place.

"You either learn to compromise"

The Repug insanity has been to take extremely radical positions and refuse to compromise. eg, the huge tax cuts for the wealthy is 2001 were pushed through by Senate reconciliation.

You of course are full of shit to say the poison from the Dems causes the poison from the Repugs.

Repugs have been drifting to the extreme right, purging all moderates, pledging to NEVER raise taxes (on the rich and corps), have been polarizing and dividing American since 92 when the VRWC went on its witch hunt of the Clintons, and then Gingrich's shutdown of the govt.

I, of course am full of shit to think that the poison from the Dems did not cause the poison from the Republicans.

Republicans have been holding the center while democrats have purged all moderates, pledging to NEVER raise taxes on businesses that create jobs, have been polarizing and dividing the American left since 92 when the VRWC went on its witch hunt of the Clintons, and then Gingrich's shutdown of the govt.

http://s3.amazonaws.com/atrfiles/files/files/072911-federalpledgesigners.pdf

Sorry man, when you have one side that needs to compromise on an issue actively pledging to forgo part of the solution that everyone knows needs to happen, and a party that very very strongly punishes those who don't sign onto this lack of compromise in the primaries, you get gridlock.

As I said before, the blame for gridlock is quite clear, AND PROVABLE, in this case, unless you simply want to ignore reality and go with blind ideological cognitive bias.

6 Excuses Right-Wingers Are Teeing Up In Case Obama Beats Romney

It's never the fault of conservatism!

1. Obviously, Fraud
There have already been a slew of stories (http://politics.blogs.foxnews.com/2012/11/05/allegation-unions-putting-illegal-immigrants-voter-rolls-clouds-nevada-voting) in the conservative media about unauthorized immigrants who were registered to vote. Not that they voted. This is being pushed by William Gheen, a belligerent anti-immigrant hard-liner who runs ALIPAC.

2. Voter Suppression
Yes, irony is dead. “Voter Suppression” was the headline for a breathless Fox News story (http://tbogg.firedoglake.com/2012/11/06/ebony-on-ivory-suppression-in-action-the-blackening/) about that one guy – the one called “the new Black Panthers” – who is apparently standing outside a Philadelphia polling place doing nothing in particular except being SCARY AND BLACK.

3. Mitt Romney's to the Left of Dennis Kucinich
Obviously, Mitt's purportedly “moderate” reputation will be primarily to blame. It's unclear what evidence there is that Romney's a moderate, other than the fact that he Etch-sketched into one when running in true-blue Massachusetts.
While everyone outside the bubble knows that Mitt Romney is going to do far better than the rest of this year's GOP freak show – Herman Cain and Newt Gingrich and Michelle Bachmann and Rick Perry – would have, expect to hear a lot about how any one of those true conservatives could have wiped the floor with Obama.

4. Moochers Gotta Mooch
As I've written before, the idea that 47 percent of the country are dependent on public services is nothing but a pernicious lie – people tend to rely on these services for an average of a year when they fall on hard times. The idea that half of Americans are permanently in this group is simply wrong, and the suggestion is kind of disgusting.
But reality doesn't matter much in politics, as Pema Levy reports (http://2012.talkingpointsmemo.com/2012/11/romney-supporters-obama-47-percent-victory.php) on a common theme she encountered at a Romney rally:
FAIRFAX, Va. — If President Obama wins re-election on Tuesday, retired Army Colonel Allen Wild knows exactly who blame: “the 47 percent.” Not the leaked video (http://www.motherjones.com/politics/2012/09/secret-video-romney-private-fundraiser) of Republican nominee Mitt Romney claiming that 47 percent of Americans will vote for Obama because they are dependent on government.
“The takers,” Wild explained to TPM at a Romney rally on the final day of the campaign Monday here at George Mason University. “Those who pay no income tax.”

5. Does This Mean Mitt Romney is a Gay Abortionist?
We all know that God visits natural disasters on the United States because of gays and lesbians and abortion. An emerging excuse/ storyline (http://thehill.com/blogs/blog-briefing-room/news/265777-gop-pundits-sandy-stopped-romneys-momentum)on the right is that Romney had had all this “momentum” – he didn't – until Hurricane Sandy swooped in an stole his thunder.
Now, why would God send Sandy to help Obama win? It would be irresponsiblenot to speculate!
Fortunately Nate Silver – whom Wonkette refers to as “your math and statistics boyfriend” – has this one pretty thoroughly debunked (http://fivethirtyeight.blogs.nytimes.com/2012/11/05/nov-4-did-hurricane-sandy-blow-romney-off-course/).

6. And, Of Course...
Items 1-5 pale beside the treason of the LIEbrul media, which covered up for all of Obama's outrageous nontroversies and totally rigged the debates to make Romney look cold and robotic. That one just never gets old.

http://www.alternet.org/6-excuses-right-wingers-are-teeing-case-obama-beats-romney?akid=9652.187590.TEM0c3&rd=1&src=newsletter739871&t=5

God wants Obama to win ergo Sandy. That gave Obama the last minute chance to show he's not George W. Bush 2.0. That gave him the chance to show a contrast between two response times. As tragic as it was, he made out like a bandit. He would have won regardless, but he pretty much took a huge Ron Paul on Romney after that.
