timvp
11-07-2012, 12:53 AM
Besides, am I wrong?

Black vote percentage for GOP
1980 - 14%
1984 - 9%
1988 - 11%
1992 - 10%
1996 - 12%
2000 - 9%
2004 - 11%
2008 - 4%
2012 - 6%

:lol @ suggesting blacks only vote for Obama because of skin color. Sure there's going to be a bit of a bump -- that's to be expected. Just like I'm sure a lot more Mormons voted for Romney compared to the percent who voted for McCain.

This really was a HORRIBLE night for the GOP and time for them to reaccess their plans going forward.

The Tea Party IMO, is what is fucking them over. They need to either throw them out, or break away and let them have the GOP.

Without them and their radical ways, this election is probably still a contest and the GOP probably either wins the Senate or is still too close to call with the remaining races.

The way he handled financial reform really pissed me off. He sold out the public option before it even had chance. He's pretty much given in any type of showdown in congress. Increase in warrantless surveillance like Bush.

The thing that really pissed me off was the bombing of Libya in a way he specifically said the president couldn't do when he was a senator though.

Thanks. I agree with each of those negative points, tbh. I'll never understand how/why he got talked out of the public option. I also thought he ignored most of his immigration-related promises and I'm surprised that it didn't come back to burn him.

I REALLY hope that he unleashes the real Obama the next four years and that it's a massive improvement. Otherwise, tonight will kinda be like that time the Spurs re-signed RJ :depressed

SA210 is like the conservative guy that hopes Reagan will raise from his grave and win another election.

Ron Paul will never, ever, be President of the USA.

Now, you can sober up, come to that realization, and move on looking for your next libertarian guy that might actually have a shot, or keep reminiscing about what will never come to pass.

ElNono is like the everyday ignorant poster who just assumes things, as usual. I'm not even a conservative :lol I just think it's funny that liberals are hypocrites and are cool when their guy does what Bush did and they were so angry about before. You know, basically I can think for myself and not just follow party because the tv tells me so.

Reading is fundamental, tbh. I didn't call you a conservative, I called you a libertarian... smh

I think everybody is fairly aware of what Barry did. I personally didn't vote for him (or Mitt, which, IMO it's much of the same). So we're in agreement on that.

At the same time, you're not special. And Ron Paul isn't winning an election either. And for the most part, tonight showed that nobody really gives a crap about images of dead babies.

Um yea, but I'm not necessarily Libertarian. I supported Ron Paul because he was against corruption and war. He is pretty conservative. I'm not conservative when it comes to helping the poor in any sense or most issues. I'm like Jill Stein liberal when it comes to those issues. But I'm pro anti-corruption. So yea, you did assume. My bad for the Reagan thing though.

Not really, I'd like to support the Democrats if they were truly Democrats, but they aren't. I don't have anything to figure out. 3rd Party is it for me until a real JFK type comes around. I don't just vote straight ticket, that would be moronic. My support of Ron Paul is because all this corruption needs to stop. He tells the truth about money, the Fed Reserve, illegal wars and civil liberties (NDAA)

A lot of people don't like any of that. But Ron Paul was not, and never will be, in play. At some point that has to sink in, and you'll have to move on.

Why hasn't he put an end to Afghanistan yet, like Bush did in Iraq? Why did he shoot our missiles into Libya, and help other thugs with their civil dissatisfactions?

Better not say that to an Obama supporter. Because we all know Obama signed an agreement with the Iraqi government that troops would be out of Iraq by the end of 2011. Didn't Obama push hard to keep the troops in Iraq? Where is Ben Swann when you need him?

Americans are some misinformed lazy ignorant humans. I'm sorry but people in America half ass when it comes to doing research and fact checking on anything especially when it comes to politics. And these Obama supporters are more delusional than Bush supporters. These Obama supporters are talking about free health care, free birth control, and free abortions yet not one has said anything about foreign policy. It's like they have this attitude of "I will take my handout now please" and "who cares about innocent people dying in the Middle East when health care is free, abortions and birth control are free". It's a disgrace if you ask me.

It just makes me mad how badly Bush damaged this country and yet no one is held responsible. He severely damaged America's reputation and name and destroyed the economy which is screwing over millions and millions of people. And Obama is following in Bush's footsteps. This shit all started with 9/11. That was the catalyst for the nation building under Bush's reign.

is it that you have a secondary nationality or something? when you said americans are lazy ignorant humans you also included yourself in this group imho. the US economy has been in gradual decline since the beginning of 21st century for various reasons, including the overflow of immigrants, corrupt health care & education system etc... which were none of bush's fault, nor the fault of any other person or party imho. 9/11 might be a catalyst like you said, but was hardly the reason the country went the wrong way as it did. bush might be a mediocre president too but it's unfair to say he had spoiled the country's image or shit. at least he didn't get caught allegedly having sex with an intern working in the white house tbh, nor did he fake a birth certificate to make himself eligible for presidential election

That shit was the catalyst for the mess that we are in right now. And the GOP needs to wake the fuck up and cut all ties and history with Dubya.
