Will they release Florida like the fiasco before, where Florida is in two timezones, disenfranchising the panhandle voters?

They aren't supposed to discuss actual numbers, just trends.

Still having trouble with that word, eh?

Obviously, Wild Cobra's keen intellect and careful word choices are meant to demonstrate his knowledge that once the exit polling numbers were released, the polls in the central time zone immediately closed and nobody in that part of the state was permitted to vote.

What is a concerrn is that if people thought their vote didn't matter, after the media called it for Gore, that they might not vote.

Who knows. Maybe that's why Bush won? Maybe democrats didn't vote after hearing it, thinking they already won?

Yep.

Anyone with access can change the touch screen calibration to show such a thing.

Was it in the booth that way, or in a secluded setting?

They have been showing them all week in other places that do the reverse...so far it just seems to be abberations in individiual machines and as soon as it shows up they fix it.

Apparently it was in the booth. Machine was removed, recalibrated and then placed back without complains, apparently.

Thousands report voting problemsLong lines aren’t the only problems voters are facing across the country. Particularly in battleground states, reports of voting problems were flooding into vote-protection groups.

The Election Protection Coalition, comprised of more than 100 local organizations dedicated to protecting the right to vote, reported 53,000 complaint calls by 2 p.m. Eastern time.

Calls to “our hotline are spiking,” said one official with the Lawyers Committee for Civil Rights under Law, a lead organization in the coalition, at 2p.m.

Many of the problems were coming from battleground states, including recurrent voting machine breakdowns and malfunctions in traditionally Democratic areas of Ohio including Cleveland, Dayton and Toledo.

btw, I hear they are expecting 200K provisional ballots in OH that won't be counted until mid-December

Looks like extreme right-wing JINO SCOTUS will get a chance to elect Bishop Gecko The Liar.

Considering the Obama hysteria of 2008 that is a very interesting tidbit of information that on the surface would seem to favor romney. (at least that is my interpretation)

Could have a lot to do with Sandy and that would favor Obama. I think you're going to see a lot of turnout because of Sandy.

The East came in with huge gains for Obama after Sandy. You had Bloomberg and Christie both very vocal in their support on the job that Obama did and from the Mid Atlantic up through NE its been the biggest issue at the forefront of everything for a week now. The Gallup poll last night was hugely telling on this end.
