Trading fluke-ass threes...

Neal is one of the best shooters in the NBA, he may not be a PG, but he is a darn good shooter, Barnes on the other hand is trash.

The Spurs could have drafted Deandre Jordan back in 2008 when he slipped in the draft but we decided to pass. He would be our defensive/rebounding Center right now and we wouldn't be having to bitch about Splitter every game. Just food for thought.

He has been tonight. Soft hooks in traffic, knocking down open Js. I think he's getting more comfortable with shooting in our system, but he's also still making great passes. And his defence on Blake has been great - uses that gut to his advantage! :lol

I would love nothing more than to take him off your hands. Have you seen the Spurs bigs? Outside of Duncan we have D-league level talent (i.e. Splitter, Bonner, Blair). It's why we can't afford to have Timmy out of the game for more than 4 minutes at a time.

The Spurs got off to a good start, but every shot where the Spurs extended the lead, I DID NOT ACTUALLY SEE IT (each time, I had looked away for a moment, so I only heard the call). By the time I started watching intently, the Clippers took the lead and have not relinquished it.

My hypothesis is that as long as I am physically watching the live action (going back via DVR doesn't count), the Spurs will not be able to retake the lead, not even for a second. They can TIE the game, but will NOT be able to actually have the lead again in this game.

So far, my hypothesis remains unrefuted. We'll see what happens in the second half.

Dude, calm down, they aren't D-league level. Yes, we need an upgrade in the frontcourt, but let's not go too far into the hyperbole.

Yes he does. Guy is a 45% shooter, not 55%. No better than Danny Green percentage-wise.

Gary does not have 1-9 nights. It's that simple. His percentage is low some games where he only takes a few shots, but if Gary takes 10+ his percentage is never a paltry 11% like you're trying to make it out to be. Green on the other hand can have games where he takes 10 shots and misses quite a few of them. Neal isn't as streaky as you're trying to make him out to be.

Neal better not bring the ball up ONE time in the 2nd half. I'll take Patty over Neal in the 2nd half if that's the case...

Patty got the form around CP3 and D-Will, so let him rip Pop.

Ice009
11-07-2012, 11:45 PM
Agreed.

Patty will be fine when he calms down, stops pressing and just plays his game. I think he's trying to play pure PG when actually he's a scoring PG.

The problem with Patty is, that to me, he looks like a poor ball handler. I don't think he is the one you want out there if you don't want turnovers like that other poster was implying. What's your opinion of his ball handling?

jalen rose- "Tim Duncan most dominant player of the generation"

Clipper Nation
11-07-2012, 11:47 PM
Listen to this man - he knows of what he speaks.

The Clipper we really want is BLEDSOE.

Teams have actually been asking about him, but the Clippers won't even entertain any offers until they know CP3's decision next summer...

Clippers are having a great third quarter so far. Anyone that was on that Clippers team is likely to remember what happened in the playoffs. They're not likely to have a piss poor third quarter again, they're likely going to play even harder against us in the 3rd. Spurs need to actually wake up and stop expecting teams to collapse.

dbestpro
11-08-2012, 12:01 AM
Time to give the bench some PT and see if there is any energy left on the team. this should be where Blair would help, but his mindset makes him play like a 50 year old man in situation like these.
