Nobody is talking about Erik Koch who was scheduled to fight for the belt. Let's see him proving himself when flying under the radar now.

I hope Rampage will get Ko'ed and goes to Bellator. His attitude lately isn't pretty to watch and hear.


Hopefully Pettis will finish Cowboy in a flashy way. In a so stacked division even when he does that he cannot be sure of a title shot when Alvarez was promised a belt shot.


As for the title in the lightest division, there is no question we will have to look out for not blinking too much. I can't wait for this card. I hate Chicago crowd and they might prove once again with the booing they are blehh. IMO Johnson will dominate Dodson though.

I want to pick Rampage but i just can't. The dude just looks to me like he has lost the fire and obviously based on his comments is looking for the exit. Glover is 33 same basic age as Rampage but very very hungry to make a name for himself in the UFC. He is thinking title shot in 2013 while Rampage is thinking about fighting in Bellator or a pro boxing debut. Glover wins VIA hunger and desire IMO.. UD or if Rampage comes in out of shape he may get the TKO..

I find Pettis to be both over-rated and annoying..

Me too.. He was in shape for Jones but that loss wrecked any hope he had to get back to the top.. Rampage gets unmotivated very easily.. He will probably be in the shape he was for the Hammill fight which was mediocre..

This sucks. I have to go to a surprise going-away party for a friend, which means that I need to be there before 8pm ET, which means I'm going to miss the main card. I was super psyched about the Pettis/Cerrone fight as well.

I guess I can catch a lot of the undercard. And on that note, Bader is way down on the undercard - does anyone else find that surprising? I know his loss to Machida was disappointing, but it's not like he's on a 3 fight losing streak or anything.

Quinton Jackson v. Glover Teixeira - Rampage is done and Glover is a killer. A lot of casual fans are finally going to see what Glover can do.

Anthony Pettis v. Donald Cerrone - 100% toss-up in my opinion, but being from Texas, I have to go with Cowboy (I know he's not actually from TX...)

Erick Koch v. Ricardo Lamas - Koch is going to "bully" Lamas.

And how is that not illegal? The ref makes you keep your toes out of the cage when on the ground but you can use the cage to spring yourself off when on the feet.. So don't grab the cage but go ahead and spring off the cage..

Probably because a TD would never occur if they allowed you to hold onto the cage, takes away the advantage of a dominant wrestler. While jumping off the cage can be an advantage it also puts them at risk as well, someone could easily catch them mid air and slam them.

I'll still be rooting for Benson if that fight happens, I'm sure he is pissed the way that final round went for WEC title.

I love the excitment he brings. Hes very unpredictable, but I understand why you wouldnt like it. But in almost every fight something "illegal" happens. Whether its using the fence for a second or grabbing the tights, and as previously stated, he puts himself in a very dangerous postion to get caught with a punch or taken down.

He demolished Cerrone and that's great.

Him against Benson might be a fantastic fight as Benson is way better and what's to avenge his loss while Pettis was out forsome amount of time but still he got better.



Rampage fought the fight but Golver was able to absorb the striking of Rampage and produce his own. Good gameplan but still you can see holes in his game. Him vs Rashad would be nice if Shad gonna win vs NOG.




This 12-6 elbows should be allowed as knees to a guy that's standing up with fingertips on the mat. I've been telling it for years :)

Pretty damn good card overall, especially for it not being PPV.

I think Dodson stands a chance of being a world champ down the line, but he needs better conditioning and more big fight experience. He should have pressured MM more when he rocked him. Might lose you the fight, but you're going to lose anyway if you let it go to the later rounds against superior conditioning AND more experience unless you do a lot of damage early.

Rampage was pretty bleh. Better shape than I've seen him in a while, but he's been a one-dimensional fighter for a long time and it just doesn't fly in MMA anymore. You have to give your opponent different looks or they just sit on an opening and exploit it.

Rampage fought strikers like Machida and Forrest and he fought the same way.. Joe Rogan almost every Rampage fight was begging him to throw leg kicks or shoot for a double leg. Rampage sadly wasted a lot of his talent..
