Not in the meaningless win but in the Mile Brown firing. They showed the world that they are not ok with losing and in doing so they gave Dwight the message. No way he leaves an organization that will win at all cost. :lobt:

What happens when they bring in another coach and they struggle to keep up with the bobcats record?

Gasol is turned into a championship piece. You've seen this show already. You know how it goes...

The Lakers have zero chance at a championship this year. Like literally zero.

:lol @ firing Potatohead is "winning at all costs." That's just more Kobe grandstanding, only off the court.

No, it shows losing will not be tolerated.

Isn't this what any other organization does when their team and coach sucks? Not sure how this is some kind of "winning at all costs" message. Coach sucked so he got fired.

Mike D'Antoni would be the same as Mike Brown. Sign PJ and I'll be noticed.

Before he was fired Lakers had barely been able to field their best lineup for 48 minutes combined through the 5 games...

Don't need picks when your the Lakers and you have Dwight.

That wasn't my point. My point is that they didn't send the message you think they sent. If winning was all that mattered they wouldn't have fired Potatohead before he could even assemble his team.

If the OP were serious he would mention that getting rid of Kobe would be the proper "cost" to win a championship. The Lakers have the talent, they just have to flush the cross-eyed turd along with the Brown water.

Everyone makes mistakes but the Lakers fix mistakes.

Get rid of a guy scoring 27 ppg on 55% shooting? That makes no sense and you are trolling.

Shitty take... I seem to remember the Spurs winning more playoff games recently than the Lakers. And at about half the salary cap hit too. But you just keep holding out hope that this isn't the shittier version of the '04 Lakers

More playoff games but less titles :lol If it doesn't result in a title, then it's a failure either way.

Way to extrapolate one game to the season. Let's go back to the final game of the playoffs for the Lakers last season: Lakers up in the 4th, Kobe bricks and fumbles the Lakers right out of the playoffs. 30 million dollar instant deficit. A flush would be prudent considering... but we know that's never going to happen because little jersey wearing fan boys like you suck his balls nightly so the Lakers are still making a killing of cross-eyed rapist.

Kobe is always a valuable piece for the Lakers organization from a financial standpoint, even when he's not ringing. Spur players on the hand, struggle to sell jerseys and 50 cent tickets :lmao

So should the spurs "flush" oldie, frenchie and baldie when they disappear during the playoffs and get backdoor swept again? Think about that, bitter old man.

Nah, Spurs made it to the WCF last year with about half the payroll the Lakers spend. We good.

But lol at you pretending the firing of Brown was a financial move when they are still paying him.

The Lakers haven't won a single playoff series with the Kobe/Gasol combo when they didn't have home court advantage. If you really think they'll win with a low seed though, :lmao

Terrible start of a postting career: Depending on a team without 3pt specs... that has a shooter lover as a coach. Oh, and doesn't like defense.
