Was reading a ESPN article when I came across this:

Mike Dunleavy wrapped up his interview with Buss Sunday afternoon, according to a source. The interview, just Buss and Dunleavy, lasted an hour and a half. The interview went well, according to sources, and Dunleavy is in strong consideration if a deal with Jackson falls through.

MAKE IT HAPPEN BUSS :lol

Already mentioned 100 times, but Phil is on lock according to all sources. Lakers gave him a blank check, it's all about how many road games he's playing and getting the assistants he wants.

Not really... this year's Clippers are already better than any Dumbleavy-coached Clippers team, tbh...

:lol Having Daniel Ewing guard Raja Bell in clutch time of a crucial playoff game

Dunleavy was the sole reason the Blazers lost game 7.

Phil is such a joke by now. How many times does that douchebag need to quit during an off season of a subpar year where he sandbagged the entire season before people realize what a fraud that fucker is? How many times does he have to only come back when the team is stacked? Phil is the NBA version of J Edgar Hoover, taking credit for shit that he has no hand in and checking out when the Heat is on.

He's the dirty socks that the superstitious MLB players wear because they had them on last time they won.

This is true. Vinny is a shitty coach. Any coach who still cheers dunks and ignores the defensive lapses is in over his head.

Even if Phil says n:lol, no way in hell will Mike Dumbleavy ever patrols the Laker sideline again as HC. I'd rather keep Bernie or go with Pringles tbh.

If Phil coaches again and the Lakers lose again, Howard will be blamed because there will be at least one mid season confrontation with Jackson and/or Kobe as Howard is not getting enough touches. He's not going to want Kobe and Phil getting the glory from his work.

The Heat with Bosh, James, Wade, Allen and Battier are going to be a motherfucker to beat. It's probably not going to happen. Phil has to be weighing that about now. Also, does he want to end his career for sure by getting curb stomped by Riley or Scott fucking Brooks again?

Could even finish atop the West after Chauncey and Hill come back and Odom finally gets into shape, tbh...

It's all possible. The thing is, Howard can walk after the season is over if shit sucks. He still haven't signed an extension yet.

A guy like Phil though, he knows the stakes are high but the reward is even higher. It's not like he's not already considered the best ever, but he could be the catalyst for Dwight staying and maybe milking another ship in a year or two once the cancer Kobe is gone. Plus I'm sure it didn't sit well with him that he had to walk after getting his clock thoroughly cleaned by the Mavs.

What's he gonna do with the Mansion he bought last season, though?
