Batum and Hickson lead the way with 19 points each in a losing effort.

tlongII - Lillard Bryant? Dude was a chucker tonight and a big reason why they lost the game. He couldn't hit shots, he flew into the lane wildly and could not get the offense into their sets early enough - very herky jerky. If he shoots just a terrible 40% they win the game, agreed?

Lillard's overrated. Very overrated. Only two rookies who have been impressive are Davis and Drummond. Everyone else looks average right now.

Lillard had a poor game tonight. He's still playing better than any other rookie though.

Not really - Anthony Davis is better. But Lillard is regressing. He's chucking and chucking and his team has dropped 4 straight because of it. Hickson had a monster game tonight.

Lillard has had several poor games already and he only contributes on one side of the court. Unibrow plays good defense and is a decent scorer, he is the superior player and the future ROY. Lillard is on the last leg of his preseason hype and everybody will realize Hornets got it right with the #1 pick.

well of course he is, the others are not playing or are in a heavy timeshare, that has nothing to do with liliard as a player. MKG looks like the real deal however, almost no offensive game but the potential to be far more than just a stat padder.

Shved isn't playing bad, actually... (even though he chucked quite a lot against the mavs)

Davis has only played 3 games. He's not eligible.

He would have to have 3 straight terrible games to lower himself to Lillard's level.

Lillard has had some nice games and shows flashes, but his TO's are an issue, he's shooting worse over the course of the season and his team is losing. I think he's got solid potential, but he should be ok. He's not Davis quality though at this point.

True... when you lose games on a pretty good roster (Aldridge is a legit PF and Batum looks like a MIP candidate) it means something. The Hornets are .500 with Austin Rivers chucking.

Eh, one bad game... he's a rookie.

Not like there was any uncertainty to that
