Lakers outshot the Spurs, still lose... I'm pretty sure we'll shoot better next time...

Anybody who is a realist, tbh. Although since you came from upstairs, I doubt you are a realist.

I don't think anyone around here was expecting a blowout. Don't get fooled by their record. The spurs are running on empty and they don't have any new weapons to improve their play. I expect a 2007-2008 kinda season: started hot and faded away in the second half of the reg season.

You're forgetting Lakers are used to seeing terrible play under Brown and now we have a temp coach who's telling the players to just go out there and have fun pretty much. Had a few good games against sub-par teams, anybody who is a realist would have expected a 10pt loss. The only saving grace was Kobe was playing team-ball and having a good game, an abnormality.

Just very disappointed by the Spurs. They can't expect to win the championship, or even challenge for one when they struggle against bottom dwelling teams like the Lakers. I mean, what the hell is this? 84-82? The Spurs might as well have called this a loss. It's embarrassing. And what kind of defense was this? They couldn't even tempt Kobe into chucking up bad shots most of the night, and we all know Kobe, you don't even have to tempt him for him to throw up bad shot after bad shot.

Brings to mind the "win" OKC had over the Pistons.
