So T-Mobile is having a two day Samsung promotion sale on Nov. 16th and 17th. The phones that are included in the deal are the Samsung Galaxy S III, Galaxy S II Relay 4G, Galaxy S Blaze 4G, and the Galaxy Exhibit 4G. If we renew our 2 year contract then we get a rebate for the whole purchase price of the phone. The Galaxy Note is not included in this deal (no surprise).

I know T-moble just got the Google Nexus 4, Nokia Lumina 810 (upgrade cost $150), HTC Windows Phone 8X (upgrade cost $200).

I know that the S III has been out for a while and I'm not one to by a phone that everyone seems to have already. I just keep hearing good thing about the S III. So should I take advantage of this promotion or maybe go with one of the newer phones that T-Mobile just recieved? We are plaining to upgrade 2 smart phone and maybe one more but not sure yet. I have not really done to much research on these phone so just asking for the forums opinion. Either way I need to pull the trigger on an upgrade soon. Good battery life and a fast/user friendly OS is what I am looking for.

S3 or Nexus 4, IMO

S3 is still a great phone

Because so many Android phones are being released, there is a misconception that a 4 month old phone is obsolete

If you buy the latest and greatest, then guess what? There will be a new improved phone 1 week later

S3 is still a greart phone TBH

Man, if this works with the value plans it's a nice deal.

I would have to pay the $200 out the door to recieve the rebate. Which sucks because whenever I did an upgrade in the past, I would just stretch it out on a monthly basis on my plan and still get the rebate. I will probably just buy one S3 out the door and maybe upgrade to the nexus 4 and use the S3 rebate towards paying off the nexus 4 eventually.
