Det altitude will cause her l:lolbia to swell the fuck up tbh. They should just cut to the chase and start Ray Allen. Det 37 year old SG is clearly the 3rd best player on their team at this point (behind LBJ and Bosh).

Speaking of the past, He was at the peak of his FTA powers in 2008 - averaging 30ppg (http://www.nba.com/playerfile/dwyane_wade/career_stats.html). He's been declining ever since. Now he averages 16.9ppg m:lolre than me. :downspin:

Having the best player in the game on the same team will do that. Since we're comparing stats 10 games in, how about those Lakers? Remember that defense you stated Brown would bring?

Kobe has averaged 30ppg (http://www.nba.com/playerfile/kobe_bryant/career_stats.html) and 28.5ppg next to prime Shaq (reg season). He stepped it up in the playoffs leading to a 3peat. Stop making excuses for Wade's decline in production. If anything, playing with LBJ should make it easier to avoid 2-10 shitstains tbh. :lmao

Oh, and Mike wh:lol?

Then remember what happened when Malone and Payton came around? His numbers dropped across the board, as well as his general efficiency.

Nuggets need to retool this roster. They have no reliable wing scorers. Gallo's best position is as a stretch PF. Iggy should be a SF. They have no SG who can score. Faried produces but better for him off the bench as a tweener. Maybe I'm wrong, but what they're doing now is not working out.

So having two extra star caliber players on the team had absolutely nothing to do with Kobe's decline that season?

His FGAs per game, yes, but it should have made his FG% higher, 03-04 was a pretty bad year for him. Are you trying to say injury wasn't the main reason his stats went down?

Kobe dealt with injuries a number of other times in his career and still kept solid stats. So what made that year so much different?

But you are thinking that getting less FGA's for a volume and rhythm shooter like Kobe, is going to somehow improve his efficiency?

lol okay

No, having a better PG and less doubles to deal with should have improved his FG%.

Are you trying to say just because he can play well enough with a sprained ankle that he could with an injured shoulder which had to be surgically repaired?

lol okay

Well he played with a bad back, jacked fingers on his shooting hand, and a bum knee (which ended up needing surgery) yet still won titles in the process and didn't seem to skip a beat. So it's pretty hard to say whether it was entirely the shoulder injury as you suggest, or perhaps other factors, imo.

Don't get why it's so hard to simply acknowledge that numbers will generally go down when other star players come on board, which was the original argument.

Not all injuries are equal and Kobe couldn't play with his shoulder when he aggravated it again, so it's apparently something that bothered him a lot more than all those other injuries. I always believe the injuries he plays through aren't as serious as the media leads us to believe. I'm sure the whole new team had an effect on his stats, but his FG% and injury have a fairly solid link.

I acknowledged some numbers will go down such as rebounds and FGAs, his minutes were down too so that's one thing (IIRC Kobe played 40mpg the previous season that year). Although his FG% should improve if he was uninjured, he's been doing better this year than last because Howard doesn't give the other team leeway to double Kobe as often so he gets a few more good looks.
