Assume someone from Austin gets a call up since both Jax and Kawhi are out. Wright is a SF for the Toro's. Any good?

Julian Wright? I think he played for Toronto a few years back.

Assuming it's the same player, he's an athletic SF that hustles on defense/the boards. If memory serves, he was serviceable but he tried to do too much on offense at times.
It'll be a serious downgrade, but with Leonard and Jax out the Spurs could certainly do worse. Plus playing him could give the bench's perimeter defense a little more juice. Really wasn't a good ball handler though.
Things might've changed since then.

That said, they should bring Joseph up to replace Patty/De Colo. Offensively, the bench needs to find someone other than Manu or Neal to be the primary ball handler.

Wright isn't on the Toros roster this year. Witherspoon is.

IIRC, Wright broke his foot before summer league and then signed with a scrub team in Israel. He's not an option.

Poor Wright - all the physical talent in the world but never learned how to use it in the NBA.

Wow, guess the Toros roster still hadn't been updated on the mobile site. That's where I saw him on. Looks like James Anderson is getting the call up.
