Clutchest playoff run I've seen. vs LA, vs OKC, and vs MIA, those 4th quarters were incredible.

Is it just me, or does Dirk look dead in that fourth quarter? You could tell the guy was exhausted.

Per an earlier post:

If you really want to watch true excellence at his best in a decision finals game only one video is needed (link above), i.e., Mr. Tim Duncan (21pts/20rebs/10asts/8blks) Close to Quadruple Double (2003 Finals)

I don't know why everyone always says it is because they were playing the Nets. IIRC, Kenyon Martin AND Dikembe Mutombo were the front line on that squad.

A very young K-Mart and a rather old Mutombo.

That Nets team sucked ass for a Finals team, no way around it. Yet the Spurs still needed 6 games lol

The 2002-2003 Nets were a solid team imo, and a great defensive squad so duncan should get the credit for completely dominating them on both ends of the court, we haven't seen an end-to-end performance like that since. not the spurs fault the east was shit back them imo

but this def goes to jordan vs the suns in 1993, at least imo

That playoff performance by Dirk was epic. The guy can die happy :lol

duncan was up against one of the top 3 defensive frontlines of all time who he also out rebounded by himself
who was kome up against
rookie courtney lee and jj reddick

:lmao 10-27 in Game 7

Yeah that's fuckin clutch

to be fair though he was facing some of the best post defense in NBA history and he managed to outrebound them both combined in a game or two iirc

tbh though when I think of "clutchness" from 2005, I think of Robert Horry. Tim had some really clutch shots in the earlier rounds but I can't remember any super clutch plays in the finals aside from when he took over in Game 7 in the 3rd

duncan has always been the cornerstone of his team since the day he was drafted by spurs, the clutchest performance of him i can remember was his buzzer-beating 3 in playoffs round 1 against the suns tbh

:lol Duncan apologists

Kobe is no saint with his atrocious 6/24 showing in the Game 7 vs Boston, but let's not pretend that Ginobili didn't bail out Duncan's 10-27 shooting tramp-stamped ass. :lol :lol :lol
