Knowing these two will not be available for the road trip, what do we do for lineup? We have no SF on the roster that are listed as SF first. Manu and Green can play there in small ball, so why not use them there to start with? Well, for one is hurts the SG position. Our depth there is excellent until we move one or both to the SF. Right now, our bench guards have to step up and play better than they did against LAC.

Against Boston, Pierce is 6-7 versus Manu and Green both 6-6. Tony, Gary and Patty have to fend off Rondo, as we dont have the rotating defense to slow him down without Kawhi or Jax. De Colo has to take a more actiive role at the SG.

Against Indiana, Paul George has moved into the spot of Danny Granger, but has not been the scorer. Green and Manu again can handle the 6'9 George. Our PG can run with Hill at PG. What is necessary in this game is our bigs have to compete for the rebounds on BOTH ends of the court. With West. Hibbert and George all averaging over 7 boards. we have to cut into those numers. This means we have to have big games from Blair, Diaw, Splitter and Bonner. Bonner hitting a couple of 3's early would be nice as that brings West out from the paint.

Against Toronto and Washington, we have a chance to play all our players for extended minutes. If Anderson has returned to the Spurs, this is a good time for him to show his stuff. Lowry and DeRozen are the top players on Toronto. McGuire and Kleiza dont scare many teams. Opportunity for the bench players to shine. Same with Washington, Ariza and Webster at the SF dont scare many teams. With Wall sitting, Tony, Gary and Patty should drive the PG crazy. Biggest worry we have against Wizards is complacent attitude.

Orlando has their own problems. They are still searching for a lineup that works. Ayon has been a failure for them. Right now they are playing a small lineup with 6-5 Afflalo at SF. That means we could go as deep as De Colo without giving up size. A little pressure and they will fall apart.

For these last 4 games, Anderson could gain a lot of minutes to get back in the groove with the system.

Miami is still the team to beat. If we were healthy, we have a good chance to win. But we are far from healthy. Everyone would have to play the game of their lives to win this one. Without a true SF to defend LeBron, we will have trouble all night long. This is good game for Pop to tinker with the teams minutes. Would be a good game to rest Timmy as Memphis comes to town on Saturday. Would all him 2 days rest and not abusing his body against the Heat.

At this point, Kawhi shoud be back. Then we get back to having a more normal lineup.

Boris doesn't have the foot speed. I think Green and Manu will be on Lebron. If anything quirky is going to happen I would like to see what slim Dejaun Blair has got. Yes he is a horrible defender but maybe is activity level could pester Lebron for a bit.
