TP is a solid player but hes never gonna be a #1 option who can lead a team to a title
he wilts to easily
somehow teams just clog the paint and the roleplayers start missing and his jump shot disappears
he just doesnt have "it" either
if TP was traded for cp360 i would feel like we would be instant favorites
id feel more confident with our title chances of TD could kept up his level of play vs TP upping his
manu also needs to not play like garbage most of the game and string together some 15/5ish type performances

Parkers sucks he didn't pass the ball to Manu, only 6 assists

not sure of what you are talking about tbh, cp3 so far is averaging 1 pt less than tp with a lower FG% and 2 more assists not going to put the Spurs over the top.
Spurs need a talented big not a PG.
I obviously would take cp3 over tp but this is not what would put the spurs in the favorites category

I'm a big Ra'on fan to tell you the truth even though he should stop with his assists streak BS and try to look for scoring, this is what his team needs. Ra'on with Pop pushing him to look for his offense would be the best PG in the league by far.

That is TDMVPDPOY level of bads. Do that trade and the Spurs biggest weaknesses (fragility, can't rebound, underperforming bigs, age) still exist. You can argue it'd make the Spurs better but instant favorites? C'mon brosef.

For some reason teams like to play rope-a-dope with Parker. During the regular season they allow him to do whatever he wants. Then during the playoffs they collapse into the paint and dare Parker to beat them from the outside.

Neither do I. 2006 Wade was a 28 PER regular season, 27 PER playoff player. Those are superduperstar level numbers. I'm not even sure Kevin Durant could duplicate that ... and he's the second best player in the league today.
Parker's playoff PER ceiling is probably ~22-23.

19.1 PER is doable, tbh. But that wouldn't be enough for the Spurs to win the championship. Parker was 19.4 last playoffs and we know how that ended.

taking everything out of context tbh
last year parker was the #1 option and we lost
if it stays that way where he is pretty much the unanimous best player on the team i dont like the spurs chances with us now a year older
one big weakness in the wcf was parkers jumpshot disappearing on him and his tunnel vision
that wont happen to cp3 and if we had him last year we probably get past okc
cp3 is also playing with monkeyball
if he had one of the most complete offenses in the nba he could do more then parker
we would consistently be at a higher level then the mostly average/above average were at now
obviously bigs are our weakness but in reality nothing will happen so i wont talk about what trade for bigs would make us contenders
also i was saying i would rather have this 20/10 version of duncan and an above average parker vs a 15/9 duncan and an mvp candidate parker in the playoffs
spurs also felt the same way at one point
tried to deal him for jkidd once and in 09 for cp3
