Great article.

Makes you really appreciate the way Pop has led the Spurs for all these years, doesn't it?

I think Pop's titles are all behind him - but I would love to see him prove me wrong. I enjoyed the bench and the game last night- but make no mistake - I still vehemently disagree with Pop's decision to rest players. It hasn't led to any titles since he started "managing" minutes and it hasn't led to any injury-free seasons either.

You guys are content with the Spurs being contenders and with the "corporate knowledge" and the Pop system. I understand. More power to you.

I am not satisfied unless there are titles. This is what differentiates you and I.

:lol

There's plenty that differentiates you and I. A grasp on reality for one.

He used the same exact tactic as far back as 2005. The 2007 team's minutes were certainly managed as well.

It's the fabbsian aversion to any fact, or set of facts, that doesn't fit within their own warped version of reality.

I'm pretty sure the lack of titles, injuries and the managing of minutes are all a result of age.

Fine of 250k. Is this legal? Can't the Spurs protest or does Stern legally have the power to fine times as he pleases? That seems like odd amount of authority for a commissioner but what do I know.

Damn, Woj just peed battery acid in Stern's cereal.
