Lakers got this. 110-98. Beaners get a free Friday night dinner and Lakers fans will once again believe they've "figured it out."

Dwight 2-5 at the line. 2-5 from the 3 point line would be nice, but 2-5 at the FT line? :lmao

Not scary at all. Simply a monkeyballer.

And no fuckin' self-respecting Clipper fan would root for the Lakers.

Got my finger on the pulse of the Laterals. This game was easy to call, though. Friday night. Denver is a mediocre road team, probably more concerned with post-game partying than with competing. Lakers are coming off an embarrassing loss, so naturally they'll treat this matchup like a playoff game 7, much like the Dallas game.

Once again, this will be a fool's gold win.

There's nothing scary at all about the Lakers, aside from the fact they spent 9 figures on a roster that's struggling to maintain a .500 record.

Dipshit Lakers fans will believe it's a sign of things to come. What they don't realize is how absolutely terrible Denver is at defending the 3. Spurs shot 60% against them from downtown. Suns lit them up. Golden State. Everyone has season highs against the Nuggets.

D'Antoni doesn't use his bench anyway, Jamison and Meeks just went HAM so he kept them in

.500 teams with 100 million dollar payrolls need all the bullshit hype they can get.

That said, I hope Gasol is slowly phased out as a focal point of the offense as the Lakers fall in love with the 3, which is going to happen 100%. What will also be funny is hearing Lakers fans promote their new gunslinger offense when for the past 4 years they've given Spurfans an endless amount of shit for "living and dying" by the 3.

If Lakers could play like this every day, they might actually have a shot this year. Jamison isn't likely to keep this up, even though I wish he could.

No ACLs, 6'5" Dejuan Blair went 19 and 8 in 23 minutes against the Nuggets. Denver's frontline isn't really a great measuring stick to hold bigmen up to.

Trolling aside, if I was a Lakers fan I'd be optimistic that Meeks and Jamison will have more confidence going forward. Lakers desperately need a reliable bench, and under Mike Brown, these two players were marginalized. Jamison looked done and Meeks looked lost. D'Antoni's system has reinvigorated their play, and now they're a spark off the bench as opposed to the paycheck collectors they were before.

tbh it looks much easier for DH to hit a 3 pointer than make a free throw. nigga's so strong that shooting a 3 feels just like shooting a midrange jumper for other players, maybe if he was allowed to shoot freethrows behind the 3pt line his FT% would increase to 70% something tbh

Or he could just shoot at a much higher arc like he was when he went like 14/16 from the line. I don't get why he stopped using proper form

problem is, Pau is no more starter level, because of d'antoni's system.. him defending on the perimeter is laughable.
