Got my finger on the pulse of the Laterals. This game was easy to call, though. Friday night. Denver is a mediocre road team, probably more concerned with post-game partying than with competing. Lakers are coming off an embarrassing loss, so naturally they'll treat this matchup like a playoff game 7, much like the Dallas game.

Once again, this will be a fool's gold win.

Lakers desperately need a reliable bench, and under Mike Brown, these two players were marginalized. Jamison looked done and Meeks looked lost. D'Antoni's system has reinvigorated their play, and now they're a spark off the bench as opposed to the paycheck collectors they were before.

problem is, Pau is no more starter level, because of d'antoni's system.. him defending on the perimeter is laughable.
