Stealing from another thread, the Spurs could put a donation box at the AT&T Center to help pay the fine. The catch? Only pennies will be accepted.

I'm in for a $.

You should make a facebook account, something like PaySpursFine, and spread it around.

Spurs wouldn't accept it. It would go to a charity. So if you're collecting for a charity and using the Spurs fine as a reason, it would probably get some attention. Match the Fine, that would be a good charity gig.

Yeah, if dude is serious about this, he should do something like this. Give it all to charity, Stern hates when people worry about others and "waste" money. And by "waste" money I mean the David Stern definition of not giving money to him.

I'd rather the Spurs not pay the fine at all

Hell no! I'm not giving money to that dictator.

Plus, Holt's wife just bought a race horse for 1$ million. They can afford it.

$1 wouldn't hurt. Anything to pay off the ridiclous fine.

Peter Holt is worth $80,000,000, and you want to collect money for the Spurs? How about you show your support and go to the games....

Yeah, the Spurs wouldn't be allowed to accept the money. It's been tried before and shot down.

If you want Holt to get money that can go toward the fine, buy Spurs tickets from Spurs.com and then go HAM at the concession stands.

The idea is noble and I am sure that you want to show your support. But I won't be raising charity money for millionaires myself.
