So... no Kawhi, Jax, Green, Neal... Diaw will get plenty of burn at SF

That's like two fat jokes.

Either that or pop is doing some early season experimenting while keeping the roster under 15 guys for flexibility.

Ginobili starting?
or james anderson
either way i could easily see us losing this
bucks have a very good/deep frontcourt and we have no defenders for ellis/jennings

good game for spurs to statpad
starters will be playing around 35+ mins
maybe pop will actually play splitter for once
splitter vs sanders matchup is intriguing

We should sit the Big Three, too.

Then maybe we can draft a few posters from this board to fill out the rest of the roster spots on the team since the Spurs wouldn't even have enough players, probably. :D

6'3" for real 6'4" in shoes played soccer in college and am not half bad at basketball in a rec league sort of way. Think I could get a 10 day?

Maybe a 10-second.

I figured Green would be out but hey, we could wind up winning this game.

4 perimeter players injured (Jack, Kawhi, Green and Mills) is a lot. Good news are that none of these injuries seems to be too serious and that Spurs have a good record enough to be fine even if they lost few games because of them. The silver lining of these injuries is that it will give the opportunity to look/evaluate some of the end of bench players like Anderson and De Colo.

Come on. we're not going to lose to milwaukee. we've been managing fine without kawhi and jax, mills hasnt even played a decent amount of minutes in the games we've been without those two, so the only extra injury is really green, who hasnt done shit his last few games anyway.
It will be fine.

For whatever reason, during the Duncan era, Milwaukee has always given the Spurs fits. They've played 27 times since 1997-98, and the Spurs (who are over .500 against every team in the NBA during that span) are only 14-13 against the Bucks.

Well said. The signing of De Colo seems smart now with all these injuries. On paper, there seemed to be no room for him. In reality, his versatility is already paying dividends.

With Anderson on board, it is no longer under 15, but right at it. We can't make any more moves until the overall health of the team improves, and we get some wing players back.

Any updates on Green and Mills? Don't want them out for too long.
