there going full tank mode it looks like, no way in hell would dirk fight hard to make a serious playoff push if the team goes .400 something by the time he returns. just hope they get some luck with the lottery and get a top pick, trade the pick + fillers for another star player like boston did in 07' summer, and attempt one last shot at the NBA championship in the dirk era :cry

i just want them to tank this year so they'll get a top pick for 13' draft, and they can either draft a top prospect that's gonna help them instantly or trade the pick away for another star player like boston did in 07. dirk is god but he ain't gon play at a similar level past 2014, dude would retire or return to germany probably and the mavs will be tied to mediocrity for years. players like dirk only come one or two in a generation and that's not what you can always buy with money imho.
