Ha! I don't hate on Bonner, I just know his role. He is what he is. He works hard and adds a lot to the bench during the regular season. In the playoffs, particularly deep, defenses are usually better and he struggles as he can't create his own shot and he can't shoot when someone is quickly closing on him. That shuts down his offense.

Timmy is playing so well this year! It started last year and is even better this year. Such a testament to his work ethic and how he takes care of himself all year long.

manu/neal/mills/jackson are all average to below average defenders
jackson can only defend post up players these days where he is above average to elite, doesnt have the mobility to hang with the young kids
green/leonard are good but both are terrible at getting around screens at a position where guys use screens the most
diaw is inconsistent/soft and so is splitter
bonner and blair are garbage
duncan is the only consistent elite defender on the team

It seems like Tiago has had a lot more clean blocks in those one v one challenges this year :tu. He is really doing a great job protecting the rim - huge improvement so far over the last year.

His finishing around the rim, although soft sometimes for my liking, is other worldly right now. He's finishing with great hands, soft touch and in heavy traffic.
