He's one of the worst coaches in the NBA, it has been evident for two years..part of Miami's defensive struggles have been due to effort, but another major part is that Spoelstra's defensive scheme has been exposed..

considering Mike Brown looked good under LeBron, yes Spo is an awful caoch.

I dont watch enough Heat games to know but do they run plays or is it all just one on one plays with LBJ

Spoelstra ran the same offense before Lebron and Bosh arrived, it was 1 on 1 with Wade..the Heat have made some minor adjustments to their system, but it's been largely the same 1 on 1 basketball as before..

Their offense has enough talent to operate at a high level, especially with their elite spacing, but their over-aggressive defensive system has been exposed by teams that pass at a high level and shoot from outside at a high level..

as shitty as his tactical knowledge gets, his in-game coaching ability might be the worst of all even by his own standard, and it was really no surprise he got outbrained by carlisle in 11 and cost us the series tbh.
