The Chinese contingent was back at the AT&T center tonight. They hadn't been around the last couple of years.

On a bright note, Lin does rebound well for a point guard.

yeah he got a few today looking as if he was stat padding, running in front of big men to get them

Its amazing what a five game run will get you if you play in NY. I can't imagine how Timmy would be viewed if he played in NY or LA. Manu as well.

Remember when Lin was cracking the best 5 pt guard conversation with his little run. And it was never about being Asian...it was about being in NY.

tbh the spurs should seriously think about retiring monke bateer's jersey. dude was the first n by far the only asian player to win the NBA championship and a jersey of him hung under the roof at at&t would probably make a similar market effect as lin imho

i might be wrong but isn't lin's contract a lopsided one over 4yrs? he only gets paid 3-4m a year the first 3 years and the last year's salary will rise up to 13m something, a 13m expiring contract will then become an excellent trading asset. sometimes you just sign players to trade them away later imho

Lin is American but he will eventually play ball for the Chinese national team just to draw some money

Jeremy Lin's fame boggles the mind. Most bizarre example I've seen of ESPN's obsession with 'stars'.

Latarian Milton

lin is even more of an american than the president tbh. he was indeed born in the US n he has a real birth certificate rather than a faked one. dude's a legit american who happens to be trapped in a yellow body unluckily imho. he may end up playing for chinks national team and it doesn't make him a traitor or something, becky has been doing basically the same for russia

dont u guys hate it when a country who has no affiliation or any form of help upbringing, but chimes in trying to get some form of credibility of national pride....

but when the person is in trouble against the law, the country doesnt want anything to do with them....

It's a 5,5,15 million deal but the cap hit is spread evenly. So Lin counts as 8.3 million a year for the Rockets.

I had to laugh when Lin missed the bunny layup with 30 seconds left or so in OT; would've given him 40.

like cap room matters to them rockets. they've rebuilding n they ain't gonna lure any big name FAs to join them knowing what a big dumbass city there located in even if they got da room. lin ain't worth 8m a year but the rockets are using him rather cheap, and when it comes the last year of his contract they'll ship his yellow ass outta town for a real star to accompany beard nigga rather than actually pay him that money tbh

jeremy lin walks into a bank and asks the teller why the interest rate on his savings account has been performing so poorly recently.
The teller shrugs and says "Fluctuations".
Lin stops, then yells "Well, fluck you too."
